This is my favorite Chinese, place really anywhere but especially in Springfield. I've eaten at a lot of places to compare instead of giving a biased review. The food is amazing and every time I come back to Springfield on a break from school I make sure to get it. My top 3 are 1. Boneless Spare Ribs 2. General Tso's Chicken 3. Orange Chicken. The rice is great. I've been coming here since 2006 and I haven't had better, they know me and my order when I walk in. Perfection.

Came in with a friend when in town for training and got carry out. We both ordered simple dishes and were overall disappointed by the execution of it all. Food We ordered a app of their steamed dumplings, which were the best part of the meal. Even though the dumplings weren't great, they were passable, and seemed fairly fresh. I ordered the beef and broccoli combo with white rice which was eh. The meat was tough and tasted like it had been sitting out for awhile. The egg roll that came with it was solid. My friend ordered General Tso's and she said it had very little flavor and also tasted a bit stale and tough. Service was not good. Very unfriendly and when we walked in the employees were all yelling at each other and didnt see there were customers waiting. Overall dumplings and egg rolls were okay, but the rest of the food and service needed some serious work.

Food is okay, Singapore mei fun was good needed more Jakarta curry. Counter service only, which is probably best as the staff has zero personality. I did see a recent review that said this was the best Chinese in town - well if this is the best they have in Springfield I feel sorry for them.

Hands down best Chinese in town. Their crab Rangoon is my favorite. We have tried many different dishes and have never been disappointed!

The food was alright, wouldn't be craving this place for anything special, the general chicken had barely any sauce on it and was pretty tough, probably over cooked, dumplings were ok, very greasy. Overall, food was pretty bland, tasted like their oil hadn't been changed in the deep fryer in a while. Fried rice was decent but was lacking chunks of pork and veggies

Ok for dine in, great for takeout. Never had a bad meal from this kitchen. Good service, good food. Dining in is a little noisy as the kitchen behind the counter is open. Positive is you can watch them preparing your order.

The 4 stars is the good food only! The people are rude they look at you like you crazy if u ask for duck sauce or hot mustard .. I offered to pay extra for extra sauces and still got 3 duck sauces and 4 soy sauces for 5 lunch specials! Rude.. The lady was rude to my son when he asked for the price of chop sticks! I do NOT see another penny of mine being spent there

Decent Chinese food, and reasonably priced. I love their Black Pepper chicken. The portion sizes are good as well. They are relatively consistent, and prepare their dishes well. My only complaint is their customer service. They tend to be understaffed, and have trouble speaking English. We have had several order errors as a result of this. Aside from that, we do order from them monthly, and don't intend to stop anytime soon.

Just went for lunch and it is now my favorite spot for Americanized Chinese takeout in Springfield. When I walked in to pick up my order I saw the woman running the counter folding up dumplings by hand. Considering most takeout places in town have switched to seemingly frozen chicken dumplings (no better than the bland ones you'll find at Panda Express) this was a huge relief. Fresh, delicious, and no higher than the standard price for take out in Springfield. Highly recommended.

Best Chinese takeout in town. Been coming for 15 years. Very consistent. Always prepared with care, always hot, and always fresh. Generals chicken can't be beat. We also get twice cooked pork, veggie or pork lo mein, hot and sour soup, crab Rangoon and egg rolls. Portions are huge and we have several days of leftovers. White rice is sticky. There's a language barrier and that can translate to service that's not super-friendly. That's ok. Not great to look at inside, but much better than it was prior to fairly recent renovations. None of that should matter. I know exactly what it will taste like. Same chefs have always cooked it. Average prices. Lunch special is crazy cheap for the portion.

Warning DO NOT EXPECT good customer service. My second time and last time. They will be happy to accept your money. Compared to STL, LA and NYC this place is sub par. Old lady taking orders is VERY VERY rude and gives you the impression that you are wasting her time. Find another place in Springfield before you go here.......the drive will be worth it....unless you want to experience the rudeness, poor customer.servixe coupled with sub standard take out food.
