Such a nice friendly establishment with great staff and good tasting food. I've been going here for at least 14 years. Everything I down near Springfield Illinois I stop and have a corn dog.The corn dogs are made fresh to order in their batter and deep fried. It's not the frozen store bought. These are freshly made to order with a thick corn meal breading around the hot dog. Ask for mustard. We love going to cozy dog. We just had takeout for dinner last night. It was so delicious. Everything was so good!!! My favorite is the cheeseburger and the cheese fries with the homemade cheese omg so delicious. The staff is always so kind. Great food and great staff. Very cool place to eat at.

Highly recommended. Unique experience because they make the "hot dog" battered and put on a stick. It's very good, the potatoes are also good. Cheap price. Frequented by locals. A classic stop that you can't miss if you're on route 66. You can park right in
