“This place is truly a hidden gem in Palatine! The food is consistently delicious, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the cozy atmosphere makes it such a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. I’ve tried both their sushi and their Thai dishes, and everything has been fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It’s not often you find a restaurant that does both so well! If you’re looking to support a wonderful local business and enjoy an amazing meal, I highly recommend giving them a try. You won’t be disappointed!“

“The mall is so big like there’s so many venues here. Not sure which one to eat from but their bowls are so big here at the Paiks Noodle It’s both Korean and Chinese food! Facebook influencer weekly is the one that says try it out the area and yeah they got so much stuff in here. We’re gonna try the sushi as well at the market sort of Price A so if you’re not a person then it’s like to spend a lot of money than you might want to look at different options.“

“This place is amazing. I’ve tried pork cutlet and udon in many places around the world, and I can say this is one of the best. I also have to mention that the cashier/owner is always very friendly and eager to help customers. The food quality and service are consistent and top-notch.“

“Lots of open tables. Tables felt a bit sticky but service was good. Only odd thing was they didn’t like to wrap leftovers as they didn’t have any “small” boxes. Appetizers were pricey. Bowls were big and oversized for the amount of noodles in the dish. Flavors were good and more unique place in the area. Did appreciate that there was a balance of spicy and non spicy options. Also had the option to list allergies. Only bad thing was everything was ordered on the app so no good pictures of the various items.“

“If you want authentic food an amazing experience then this is your go to. The owners are hardworking and they do everything themselves. When you come here, you will be greeted by the hostess/waitress with a smiling face. A sweet Japanese man will be making the sushi and a lovely woman in the kitchen preparing with love all of the hot dishes. It is places like this that I love to eat, quite the opposite of the corporate chain restaurants who give you minimal while charging the max. This place does the opposite. You get the full value out of your dollar and it is well spent. The freshness of the sushi and the flavor of the chicken yakitori are second to none, because love is an ingredient that is not often found in restaurants anymore. Please do yourself a favor and bring your family to a restaurant that you will feel wholesome while filling you up.“

“The only reason for r stars is because im a big entrance guy. If you walk into a restaurant you want to see the glass doors cleaned amd entrance cleaned. The entrance glass doors made me cringe they were so dirty. The food was good but forst impressions make you think whats going on in the kitchen regarding cleanliness. 🤔 ENJOY YO!!!“

“Don't let the ai generated food images on the menu fool you. the bowl of udon we're really good. the texture of the noodles were perfect, nice and bouncy chew, along with the dashi broth, made the meal real comforting. It was on par with the bowl of udon I had in Japan.“

“Happened upon this place and decided to give it a try. I'm thoroughly impressed! From the service (I'm so sorry that I didn't get his name, but he was a younger guy, working at 7:30 on 6/18 and it was his mom's birthday....if that helps up identify which worker)....he was super nice and super helpful! Please pass along how great he is!! But besides the service, the food was AMAZING! I've been in search of a new place, and I'm beyond happy that I happened to be getting ice cream, next door, and happened to see their menu in the window. I kept it simple, this time, but I will definitely be back. Both because of the food, and because of the genuinely pleasant nature of the worker.“

“I went to Wok n Fire for my first time tonight and got to experience it a little differently with it being the first day you are able to dine indoors since COVID. Our waitress, Stacey was absolutely amazing! She gave personal recommendations and even traded out my girlfriends wine that she didn’t like. Great food and delicious!“

“I’m always seeking out new to me places and I’ve heard of this spot from other friends for many years and just recently had the chance to visit. I wish I would’ve visited sooner!
This spot is not much for ambience inside or outside but on the day of my visit they had brisk takeout and the dining room was packed…real quick. I’m sure a lot of folks go here for the Chinese menu items but I was there for the Lao goodies! They did not disappoint!
We had the fried meat balls; a mixed app plate with chicken wings, Lao sausage, and beef jerky; lap beef; and a healthy serving of sticky rice (ok maybe we had 2 to sop up the lap beef).
Flavors were on point. Medium spice had us excited and rolling at the same time as it got spicier throughout the meal for the lap…but it was so good! I can’t wait to go back and try more!
Service was friendly and attentive. Parking was easy since they have their own lot.“

“Lovely restaurant for parties of all sizes. We had 8 adults and 2 children.
Sushi is very good.
Spring roll was very good.
Shrimp,dishes were very good.

Basically, everything was very good.
Not crowded for a Thursday dinner.

“Carlos Carberra was our amazing server! He was so kind, fast and thorough. Our food was hot and delicious, on a night he was super busy. He had some wonderful, kind and wise words on a night that was extra tough for me. How nice to have great service from someone who genuinely cares about others! Thank you Carlos and Wok!“

“Delicious food. We already had a favorite ramen place before this but I’ve heard such good things. This is officially our favorite place and we have only had the ramen so far. Looking forward to coming back for more ramen & their sushi.
