The French onion soup and steaks were good. The carrot cake and lava cake were subpar. The atmosphere in terms of decor was nice; however, the restaurant was unpleasantly warm. Also, one thing with noting is that they have a mandatory gratuity that is calculated using the bill total and tax (for which I personally don't agree with and some corporate policies won't allow). Oh yeah, don't forget the 3.5% surcharge when you use a debit or credit card.
I recently dined at Primal Cut with a party of four. While everyone else enjoyed their meals, I was disappointed with my steak. I ordered a medium-rare ribeye, but one side was so heavily charred it was inedible. The waiter never mentioned that this level of charring was their standard preparation method, nor was it stated anywhere on the menu. I would strongly suggest informing customers how your steaks are typically prepared and offering them the option to request a different...
The menu offers a good selection of dishes and daily specials are available. Our food was prepared as requested and was served hot. Our server took time to explain the menu and came to the table often to check on our needs.
