“Update review 6/30/26

I was told that JJ was sold to new company. Idk, if this is way or not but just stopped by for a sandwich at about 6pm today and person working drive through should NEVER be put in that spot. Clearly was annoyed that they had to deal with customers, dismissive, and even at the window never said a word but my total. No thank you no nothing. I always am nice to food service workers as I have done food service and ita largely a thankless job. But nobody forced you to take it, please/thank you are minimal effort. So if they where having a bad day I hope it gets better and if they see this i hope they do better.

So did not rate atmosphere because I did drive up. But JJ is always a good go to choice. Staff seem to be able to have a good time yet still do their jobs and be nice about it.“

“I LOVE this JJ!!! I being coming here since I being in HS and now in College at UofI and every weekend before I go out I stop by and buy a sandwich. I love Thomas!!! He has my order memorized😭 as soon as I walk in he knows what I want and never misses a detail! He’s also very amigable and funny and so is everyone in the night shift! Thanks for making my weekend nights even more fun!🩷“
