“The chili is good. Entered into a chili competition at work and really didnt feel like cooking. Purchased 4 quarts of chili and told my co-workers how I slaved over making this chili, putting just the right spices in to give it its unique taste. Everyone loved it! I lost 1st place by two points, probably because the judge can't add, but whatever. And yes, those are hotdogs in the picture. We made chili dogs. Their cream of chicken soup is good too.”

“I’ve been eager to try Mortadeli since it first opened, and after hearing so many rave reviews, I finally had the chance to stop by for lunch yesterday. Let me tell you, everything everyone says about this place is spot on! First off, the food is absolutely delicious. Everything on the menu is so tempting, it was hard to choose, but I went with the meatball sub and pasta salad. As someone whose grandmother made the best meatball sandwiches, my expectations were high – but Mortadeli’s version did not disappoint! It was fantastic. The pasta salad was also amazing, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere at Mortadeli is incredibly inviting – it strikes the perfect balance between classy and cozy. The staff are very friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about making your experience special. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff and quick delivery of our food. One of the owners even took the time to chat with us a bit. Another pleasant surprise was the parking – I had my doubts at first, but we found a spot just around the corner with no problem at all. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I’ll definitely be back. Mortadeli is a must-visit!”

“I love this place, if you need anything from the ocean you should come here. I usually come here for the king crab legs and in a sea of expensive crab legs their is the most affordable in my experience. They have a great selection of fresh fish and packaged goods and if you're doing any kind of event where you're serving seafood you should come here. There are lo plenty of people there to help out if you have questions. For a place that has such a small retail footprint (they seem to do the bulk of their business wholesale) their retail customer service is great.”

The location was very clean, the food was fresh and well prepared, and everything tasted exactly the way it should. The staff was friendly, professional, and efficient, which tells me this place is well managed. That matters.

“My wife and I watched the bears vs packers game. Great atmosphere and fun time watching the game. However, BOTH bathrooms had issues and one urinal overflowed causing a mess. When the game was over and we left, we were blocked in by someone who made up a parking spot in the back of the lot. Multiple people made up spots all over the lot. When I addressed the issue with the front desk and spoke with the manager, they did nothing and said to call the police. It is not up to the customer to manage your property. I thought it was a joke of a response when a concern was raised.”

Their mini cupcakes are super delicious, awesome frosting and presentation, and Tania was incredible to work with, she took special images and printed them out to be edible on the frosting. Our family and guests loved it. Very kind, compassionate, prompt, professional, all the things. 10/10 would highly recommend!”

“12/3/25 night Brother from Texas and me. Fantastic Bar, best small town drinking place, “Great” Selections. Scott the Bartender is very personable/funny almost like someone I would hang out with. We group of 4 went Lunar Brewing couple of times 20 years ago, my brother and been talking about coming back. Today after leaving noisy,yuppy, pricy Yardhouse. We opted to Lunar, now I found new pub to spend our weekend chilly brewing after 30 years @ Brixies Saloon (Brookfield) which personally closed to me in 2017. I reside in Romeoville/ Plainfield since 2004. Nothing out there, Really”

Today I got the steak fajita and chips and Salsa through grub hub (.I live very close) The portion size of the fajita was very small for the price like the smallest portion i've ever seen for a fajita. It was also very chewy and not flavorful at all. And surprisingly the chips were stale. I typically wouldn't even waste my time on a review but this was pretty bad.”

“Tribute in Villa Park is the coziest, quirky little night spot around! Tribute is not way off the beaten path located across the street from the Villa Park Historical museum and the Illinois Prairie Path.

When you're inside Tribute you just feel at home and you get a neighborly backyard party kind of feeling.

The staff is super friendly and they have a fun trivia night on Wednesdays.

There's a spacious outdoor patio and a cozy banquet/ meeting room with floor to ceiling windows that makes you feel like your outdoors.

I’m still dreaming about the Dahi puri, which was an explosion of textures and flavors, and the chicken 65 roll might be the best I’ve ever had. The seasoning on everything was spot on — bold, aromatic, and just the right amount of heat. The service was attentive and thoughtful, and we felt genuinely cared for from the moment we walked in. A special shoutout to the owner Bella, who was such a delight to talk to — her passion for great food and hospitality really shines through. If you’re anywhere near Villa Park, run — don’t walk — to Hyderabad House. This place is a must-try for anyone who loves authentic Indian/Pakistani cuisine done right.”

“I had my son’s birthday party at Tandoori this weekend. It was the best choice to host my 45 guests at this restaurant. I ll tell you why.

1. I had decided to do the decor myself. The manager, Sahir was really, really kind to let me come a day before to put up all the decor stuff. He was very cooperative, and the staff present around was nice too. I was very conscious, given it was my son’s first bday, and my first time ever to do decor. But it turned out so good, and i must give credit to the manager who made it easier for me. I could never do it the same day the party was.
2. Our server, Rania, she did an amazing job. She helped with deciding the menu, she served everything in a perfect manner, time wise, arrangement wise. She was super easy to talk to. She helped with the cake as well. Rania, thank you.
3. Food… second to none. We had butter chicken, and mix platters. Everything was so so so delicious. Cooked to perfection. Our guests loved the food. From salad and hummus to bbq and gravy, everything was super yummy.

The restaurant made my son’s event memorable for life. I can’t thank them enough.”

“Most of the food here is okay.
We bought the large sized Beef Combo with an Italian sausage in the beef.
The sandwich was longer hence the large size, but the sausage was still the smaller regular size.
I don't feel like I got my money's worth for these two sandwiches.
I wont be getting the larger size here again.”
