This place is a must-visit for pasta lovers. Everything is handmade and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend trying their pasta and sauce.

It is a small storefront store but i am so glad i went. The young lady at the counter was so welcoming. I got some ravioli and mushroom sauce. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich which was absolutely perfect. So delicious. Had so many different sauces to choose from. She told me that they are opening another store downtown glen ellyn by the train. I know that will be a great stop and hopefully more seating.

Poppies Pasta is a small storefront store that offers good food, generous portions, and a reasonable price. The staff is welcoming, nice, and sweet, and customers can feel the passion as soon as they step in the door. The menu has a good variety, with so many different sauces to choose from, and they don't skimp on the sauce. Customers have enjoyed the ravioli and mushroom sauce, a grilled chicken sandwich that was absolutely perfect and delicious, a huge chicken sandwich, and the gnocchi trio, which was perfectly cooked with all three sauces delicious and so filling. The stuffed pastas offered for the day included Pear and cheese stuffed Ravioli, Angiolotti and Carmelle, with the vodka sauce and 4 cheese recommended. The vodka pasta with breaded chicken was great, with homemade breading. For 10-13 bucks, customers get 1 1/2 meals that taste better than anything at Olive garden or bucca. Everything wound up feeding customers 2 meals as you get a lot, and everything was tasty. One thing a customer would like them to add is Italian sausage. Poppies Pasta is opening another store downtown glen ellyn by the train, which will be a great stop with hopefully more seating. It is the best kept secret in the burbs.
