“Our family has been going to Monical's for decades now. In my opinion, they are a staple of central Illinois. Their pizza is just undeniably delicious! Unfortunately, over the years their prices have risen quite a bit, so this isn't a place you can go to all the time. But, it is a perfect meal every now and then!“
“Ate there with my daughter last night. Went to eat in the east dining room and it was freezing cold. Told waitress and she mentioned the other dining room with fireplace. They carried our food in there and they actually lit the fireplace for us! They are so friendly and accommodating! And the food was excellent! We WILL be back! “I recently brought a group of about 30 to Geo’s, and we had a great experience. The manager was great about ensuring we had enough space and answered all of my questions ahead of time. We had only one server for our group, but she handled our orders and needs with ease. Everything came out on time and was excellent.We also get takeout every few months, and it’s always delicious!“
“I can always rely on delicious sandwiches and salads when I need something fast. It may be fast but they take their time to make it great. Love the turkey sub and the cranberry chicken salad with the garlic toasts. Take it to go and relax in the European atmosphere. Salute!“
“I was there for a seminar, so didn't see how the staff would regularly act, but what I saw was good. I had the lasagna dinner, and it was great! There was a goodly sized portion of lasagna with a fantastic thick meaty sauce. It came with garlic bread, which was way more than I expected! That was a meal in itself, was great dipped in some sauce. It also came with a salad, well, a simple lettuce salad, but it was fresh and their Italian house dressing was very good. I would definitely eat there again!“
“We absolutely LOVE LaGondola. I moved out of state over 20 years ago, but every time we're back in the area to see family LaGondola is on our checklist. I've never visited the Morton, IL location before and the building leaves a lot to be desired, but the food and service was perfect! We were going to dine in, but it was freezing cold in there and although we didn't ask, we also didn't find a bathroom so we decided to take our food to go and hit a gas station with a bathroom on our way out of town. I'd recommend everyone to pick up some LaGondola for a great meal! Thank you!“
“We stopped in for lunch. Wife had lasagna and I had baked cheese Ravioli. Clean, very efficient and the wait was perfect. We enjoyed a quiet lunch together and the atmosphere and staff were amazing. Not something you get at a fast food or a busy name brand restaurant. I Highly recommend this place.“

“Just held a Celebration of Life at Bernardis in Washington and it could not have been more perfect!! Stephanie helped me set it up EVERY step of the way. The staff was incredible and the service was better than ANYWHERE I have been. They handled our very large group flawlessly! The food was incredible and everyone in attendance remarked about what a nice event this had been and just how nice the severs were and how Great the food was. They really thought of EVERYTHING including books for the kids, a dessert tray for our use and extra tables for pictures. JUST PERFECT!! Thank you Bernardis for making this memorial a GREAT experience for all of us!!! Thank you Stephanie! I will be glad to hold ANY special event with you!“
