We haven't been to an Applebee's in years and decided to visit the one in Waterloo. We were promptly greeted and taken to our table. It was a busy Saturday night and the staff were smiling as they moved about the restaurant. We selected the 2 for $25 special and were very happy with our choices. The "side" salads were full sized dinner salads, and our meals arrived sizzling on platters with cast iron skillets. Our waitress was checking on us frequently and we had a great date night. Thank you! We will be back.

We have used curbside pickup several times with large orders at the Waterloo IL. location. They do a terrific job and have great service! So far they have always done it right.Thank you Samantha C for your great service on such a fridge day!
Staff are very nice and I'm sure we'll meaning. That being said, the service is absolutely awful. They don't seem to be well trained and I didn't see any kind of management support. 20 minutes to get a drink. My wife asked for mayo for her sandwich, took 30 minutes. A second drink you shouldn't even bother ordering cause you probably won't get it. We're very understanding people but will not be returning. I don't blame the staff, I blame management.

Dec 2023 - mediocre service - had to ask for water. had to remind her salads come with 2 for $ meals. Had to ask for bill so we could pay n leave after being told we had to be quick. Wasn't very busy. She seemed distracted. Food quality has diminished. Prices are much higher for much smaller portions. Asked to sample the salad dressing she brought a whole cup, charged for it and we didn't even like the dressing. We won't be back anytime soon - Tequilas has far better service and much better value.January 2020 - Great value, reliably clean, excellent service and good food makes for a consistent experience. Keep up the great work!
