I wanted some hot and sour soup so this is where I shopped judging by the time it took to get soup they cook it to order which is not necessarily good for soups stews and such. The soup was bland and bare a few slices of mushrooms, a few slivers of carrot and celery. A little swirl of egg and thet was about it. The service was come get it. And the dining room doubles as their stock room. I have had other food they offer and it was what you expect.
Always order the sautéed mixed vegetables. This time, we didn't get sautéed mixed vegetables. We were given over steamed vegetables with a side of very runny sauce. It was not good, but it was crazy expensive.
Much better than your typical “strip mall” Asian takeout. Our carry out order was exceptional! We customized our order online and everything was made perfectly. China King uses fresh, not canned, mushrooms and peppers. The rice noodles were the right texture, the veggie fried rice was flavorful and not excessively salty … and the crab Rangoon were FAAANTASTIC.
