Our first time there and definitely not our last. The food was very good and enjoyed talking with the owners. Call before you go to check that they are open and that they have a table.
This place is a VIBE! They are a family owned eatery with one of the most unique atmospheres I have ever encountered. Past reviews claimed long wait times, but the food is made as-ordered so some patience is needed. (I personally would prefer this over some slapped-together precooked meal) Ultimately you will have a German feast fit for a king! It was a great reminder to slow down and enjoy the process!
If you want authentic German fare, this is the spot for you. Great food! All homemade! I miss schnitzel from my time living in Germany. The owner goes from table to table, very personable and chit chatty. The only server is a bit of a mess but endearing. The cook is the owner's son. It is a dying breed of restaurant, family run. Go while you have a chance!!!!
