Some of the best bbq I have had, and I am saying that having tried some great places from Houston, to Memphis, to KC, and of course STL. May not have the big name you see in some of the STL staples (although they are getting there), but I would put their food up there with the best.
I love BBQ, so it's hard to impress me. This was my first time here. Shorty's had some of the most amazing brisket I've ever had. I tried the meat platter and I have to say everything was excellent! I noticed the line was out the door the entire time I was there. People flock to good food.The place is so cool. The movie decor was a fun treat. My wife and I enjoyed spotting all the different pieces of movie memorabilia

Went for a late lunch . I like to go when it’s not busy to really get a feel for service and food. Walked in and my order was taken right away. And then! The guy cut the brisket right in front of me and got my side. Had my meal and paid instantly, pretty nice. Paid about $21 for a brisket sandwich and Mac and cheese and coleslaw.
