“I go here usually when I am in Waconda. If I don’t grab a dinner for my family and I, I always grab one piece of chicken. Their food is always hot and fresh. The thing I like most though is the customer service there. Everyone’s nice, but I’ve grown very attached to one of the employees who I always have waiting on me. His name is Cole and he works the Drive Up window and, the inside register. He’s very polite and considerate and helpful. And when he graduates from high school, and goes to college we will have a new EMT in the area. Which I can guarantee with his personality and kindness he will make a fine addition to any town. So needless to say if you go to Kentucky fried chicken, make sure you say hi to Cole and if you have any questions, even if they’re in another language, he’ll try to help you. This is something I witnessed firsthand with him the other day. He took his time to work with a man and the language app on the phone to help out the customer. So go have some chicken and say hello to Cole!!!!“

“The chicken, of course, is great, especially the spicy. The staff work very hard, seeing as there is a mountain of fried chicken prepared before anyone orders. The best sides include red beans and rice and fries. I definitely want to come back to try the ghost pepper chix sandwich, etc.“

“I drove past this place for the last 16 years always meaning to try the chicken. Well today I did and I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was delicious, so moist and crispy outside. Yes please. I got a 2 piece meal. Come with 2 sides and a biscuit. It was under 8.00. You just can’t beat that. And they have a drive thru!?! 16 years wasted. Now I know.“

“My wife, daughter and me went to the Popeyes in McHenry, IL on 11/4/24 at about 5:30 pm. We were greeted by a very sweet young woman who was smiling and very pleasant. She promptly took our order and brought it to our table when it was ready. She then began cleaning tables while also taking orders through her headset for drive thru customers. She also retrieved some napkins for us when my wife mentioned going to get some. I know fast food employees don't make a lot of money so, this young woman is really doing a great job for what she is making. I feel like this is also a sign of good managers and working environment. To the young lady working the register, thank you for being such a great person and for the best service.“
