Chicken Restaurants near Wauconda

“I go here usually when I am in Waconda. If I don’t grab a dinner for my family and I, I always grab one piece of chicken. Their food is always hot and fresh. The thing I like most though is the customer service there. Everyone’s nice, but I’ve grown very attached to one of the employees who I always have waiting on me. His name is Cole and he works the Drive Up window and, the inside register. He’s very polite and considerate and helpful. And when he graduates from high school, and goes to college we will have a new EMT in the area. Which I can guarantee with his personality and kindness he will make a fine addition to any town. So needless to say if you go to Kentucky fried chicken, make sure you say hi to Cole and if you have any questions, even if they’re in another language, he’ll try to help you. This is something I witnessed firsthand with him the other day. He took his time to work with a man and the language app on the phone to help out the customer. So go have some chicken and say hello to Cole!!!!“

Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian area of the menu. Make sure to ask without eggs for noodle dishes.“

“I think this is the best Popeyes in lake county and the safest to eat at. Clean atmosphere and convenient location. The only downside i would say is that when ordering the family box they put a lot of big back pieces in the box. Everything else about this place is great. Stay away from the Gurnee one unless you want to be sick. Round Lake is hands down the better one“

“I drove past this place for the last 16 years always meaning to try the chicken. Well today I did and I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was delicious, so moist and crispy outside. Yes please. I got a 2 piece meal. Come with 2 sides and a biscuit. It was under 8.00. You just can’t beat that. And they have a drive thru!?! 16 years wasted. Now I know.“

“Very good food! My fiance had the quesadilla and i had the steak burrito and it was 18$ total with drinks. The cheapest we've spent on dinner together! They don't skimp out on portions and it all tasted very good. Everything came out fast and hot. The waitress was also very friendly and kept checking in on us- which was nice. Definitely will be back!“

“Chick-fil-A is fire. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. They cook the food fresh and ready to eat and i love how friendly the staff is and their Christian values and how clean the restaurant is. Amazing chicken Sandwiches. Must come back. “My wife, daughter and me went to the Popeyes in McHenry, IL on 11/4/24 at about 5:30 pm. We were greeted by a very sweet young woman who was smiling and very pleasant. She promptly took our order and brought it to our table when it was ready. She then began cleaning tables while also taking orders through her headset for drive thru customers. She also retrieved some napkins for us when my wife mentioned going to get some. I know fast food employees don't make a lot of money so, this young woman is really doing a great job for what she is making. I feel like this is also a sign of good managers and working environment. To the young lady working the register, thank you for being such a great person and for the best service.“
