4 1/2; service quick & excellent, tables and dishware clean. Food portions are generous with good taste - for example: hash browns not greasy nor grill-tasting. Greek family type of eatery. Well priced and friendly. Ownership &/or management is different from at least five years ago when the place was awful; they did a 180 and we go back often. Very friendly staff, always get great service here. My family loves coming here for breakfast. Love the tomato soup, love all their desserts, mmm ive tried their skirt steak and i loveeee it. Will continue to come for many years.

I really like Wauconda Cafe I live in town and should have been going there more often. The breakfast food is great so are the soups. When you get such bang for your buck and great food locally too it's the trifecta. The staff is always so friendly when I eat in or am carrying out. I would easily recommend going here.
