“I ordered the Greek salad with gyro meat (extra $3) and was shocked at all the food. For less than $12, I was able to make almost 3 meals out of my salad. It was stuffed full of the tastiest gyro meat, feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, and extra crunchy iceberg lettuce. They didn't even give me a fuss about not wanting raw onions or olives on the salad. My friend ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with Greek fries. The chicken was larger than the bun (a major plus), juicy, and tasted (in her words) "oh so good". The Greek fries could easily serve several people and had great flavor along with the feta cheese. Next time she wants to try the chili fries.“

“We stopped at this place for lunch recently. Very good food and fast service. Everything is reasonably priced compared to other hotdog places. Portions are very generous and fries are perfectly crispy. Cheese sauce on side was great and not watery, gyro was perfect and grilled chicken sandwich was very juicy. “Classic Chicago style hot dog/gyro spot. Good food. Fast customer service. Not a lot of room to sit and eat but I think that's how most of these type of restaurants are. Overall recommend trying it if you enjoy any of those classic chicago foods.“

“We’ve been here a few times, their burgers are very delicious. The fries are also yummy! Their customer service is great, very kind & helpful.If you like spicy you have to try El Diablo burger it’s very delicious & of course spicy! The Black Widow with added egg is also very good- it’s sweet.“

“It's been awhile since I've been in the area. Had to stop out. Layout is the same. The place remains under the same owner as far back as I can remember. Staff is very friendly. The food is delivered quickly, the portions are above average in size, and they even do stuff like serve full pickle spears instead of cheap thin slices. Overall a solid entry into a pretty competitive market (Lake Zurich). I'll be back soon.“

“Today we were in the area and decided to stop in for lunch. It has been a year since we left a review. The dining room is the same and very clean! The person who took our order was really nice and professional as always! I ordered the 1/2 slab of ribs it came with a side salad, a 6" piece of corn on the cob, and fries which I upgraded to the baked potato for $1 more. The baked potato was quartered and a huge potion size so definitely worth the extra $1. The 1/2 slab of ribs had about 7 bones... so you got a decent amount! My husband ordered the Italian beef and added Provolone cheese for 65 cents which was well worth it! I posted a video for each of our food items. We loved our food and would definitely order it again!“

“This is a really cute place. Inside it is comfortable and low key. I ordered the half Italian Beef sandwich ( w/ hot peppers) that was highly rated last year. It was quite good and not too drippy. I really like that they offer a half sandwich option. The fries were good. This is a place where you place your order at the counter, sit down and wait. They bring out your food once it is ready. I wish I took photos, but will go back and take photos later. This is a cool place with many, many options. Go see for yourself. You will thank me later.“

“Very good inexpensive food. The service was great, the guy was extremely educated about his job and extremely honest. The ambiance of the restaurant was very classic and calm and there was nice music with a view of IL 120. During my order the guy accidentally clicked 2 Italian beefs and before giving the food he simple apologized and gave the money back for the extra sandwich. Very respectful.“

“I've been here a few times and I've always been satisfied but today I am moved to tell you what a good experience I had. The food is good. It's a little on the pricey side but I'd rather keep it local when I want a simple hot dog lunch. “Scottys is a a dive hot dog stand. While it perpetually seems kind of dirty and run down. the dogs are ALWAYS good. They are one of the few places that actually put saurkraut on dogs anymore. and they have the florecent green relish (always awesome) I have been visiting since early 80s. You always get a LOT of fries and they wrap them with the dogs.. although now they ask if you want them seperate for some reason. They have a few dozen things on the menu but the dogs are always the same. they are the most consistant of dive places I visit.“

THE SODAS ARE FRESH HERE I've been to too many fast food places that don't put enough syrup in their soda machines so the sodas taste like bland carbonated water or are way too watery.“

“Our family has always loved everything we've had from Photos, excellent quality, sooo tasty, and their menu is HUGE! I recently had my gallbladder removed, so I have been on a restricted diet for the past 4 months, and really struggle finding food I can eat at restaurants...until I discovered the chicken pita from Photos! It's an excellent low fat option, (2 for 1 on Sundays), and still tastes like you are eating a cheat meal! The chicken is to die for, and that tzatziki sauce - the best I've ever had (homemade as well, with dill!) Thank you Photos for always giving an incredible meal that we all enjoy!“
