North Shore Steaks & Seafood

Not gonna lie, we were a little concerned trying it based on the previous reviews, but our experience was excellent. We opted for dinner at the bar and started off with the delicious lobster roll. For dinner we went the seafood route and had the salmon risotto and the pan fried redfish with polenta. Side dishes were the local mushrooms and potatoes au gratin. Everything was cooked perfectly, came up quickly, and the service at the bar was on-point. Considering the amount of food we had and a few cocktails, we felt the price was very reasonable. We will not hesitate to stop in again.

Visited the Steak on 4/16 and the service was magnificent. The food very tasty and seasoned to perfection. Our server Daniel was very knowledgeable about the menu. Hedi the manager welcomed us and showed us how a manager takes care of her guests. Very awesome service and of course we will be visiting again. Thank you

We gave it a second chance last night because the prior month our food was so salty we couldn't eat it. This time, sitting at the bar enjoying a cocktail, we ordered a steak and side potato again. This time we waited, and waited and finally asked the bartender to check on our order. He came back and said 10 more minutes. We were getting ready to leave and the steak finally arrived. We ordered it medium rare and it came well done. Not pink inside, tough and dry. The bartender took it off the bill and we ate at one of the food trucks in the casino. It's sad because the place is very pretty, the staff friendly, they just need someone that can take charge of the kitchen and turn out consistently good food. It has potential!

Thank you American Place Casino for the awesome Valintines Day comped dinner at the North Shore Steak and Seafood restaurant . The atmosphere was great. The fillet mingon was done to perfection and the South African Lobster was the best lobster I had in years! Every dish served from the start to the end ws excellent. Our server was outstanding as well. To top it off I won $250 freeplay on the hot seat drawing as well.

This place is a hidden gem! Amazing good. Generous portions. Hands down the best steak house in the area. Never busy and the staff is amazing.

Very welcoming staff and delightful service. The food was excellent for the crab roll and steak we ordered and a fantastic butter plate that was included with cranberry walnut butter. Will likely go back again next time we visit the casino.

Do not order the $39 Sirloin Steak Frites. Menu did not state the size of the steak but thought it would be an actual full steak. Literally came out with 5 pre-sliced pieces of steak (lucky if it was 6oz.) and 8 French fries. My wife looked at me totally dumbfounded when it was sat in front of me at the table. Stopped at McDonalds on the way home as it was merely the size of an appetizer.

The first time I came here I was a little bit tough on my review. I have now tried North Shore Steaks and Seafood for a second time. I ordered the ribeye steak this time instead of the filet I had last time. The ribeye was very good. I also had the lobster bisque soup. Again, very good! Mashed potatoes, very good. King crab legs, very good, I did not like the cauliflower. They took it off my bill for me. My server was excellent. I love the light up menus. Much easier to read for us old folks.

Better than expected. Super good service. The salads were very good, so was the steak tartare. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Huge wine list.

Ribeye and au gratin potatoes too salty to eat. SUPER loud banging from Asian restaurant next door ( possibly chinese dragon type drums). The issue at North Shore is the lack of execution and trying to create dishes that are not appetizing. Go back to the basics and try to do them well. It seemed very odd that on a friday night at five o'clock, there were only three tables being served.

We were a party of 3 we had reservations at 5:30 on a Saturday night. We arrived at 5:35. We were immediately seated. We took a few minutes to order. I think we ordered about 6-6:10. Food arrived around 7. I thought that was way too long. Restaurant was not that busy. We did order the bread appetizer. It was quick and hot. I believe manager came by a few times also asked if we were going to the comedy show we said yes. She informed us we should ask for our check right away after we got our food. I was thinking wow how long will it take to get the food. The food arrived after at least 45 minutes to a hour. Two of us ordered the medallions with mushroom sauce. It was very good but not warm. The other the sirloin with French fries again very good but she ordered med well I we feel it was under cooked. We also ordered a side of mashed potatoes which looked like cream of wheat so smooth like how boxed potatoes would be. I'm thinking there's no way they us instead potatoes?? Not sure but did not like them. No salt or pepper on the table never asked if we needed ketchup or steak sauce. The server nor the manager once asked if everything was ok. I would try again only because the steak was good

We had one of the most amazing experiences while having a rare date night out without our little one.
Take aways from our dinner:
1) top 3 meal I've ever had. The lobster bisque was perfect, steak, salad and dessert were AMAZING!
2) service was first class all the way. Our waitress Elizangela was attentive and had a great personality.
3) cocktails were so good.

We talked about doing this as monthly or every other month trip to American Place for date night instead of Vegas. Because this was an absolute amazing experience.

My husband and I came here for date night and it was one of the best dinners we’ve ever had. The service by Elizangela and staff was fantastic and the food and cocktails were amazing! This is definitely our new go-to date night spot and highly recommend to everyone.
