“We celebrated my fiancee's 30th surprise birthday at Bikini! They helped us set everything up perfectly for the surprise and we had a great time! “Tonight I decided to venture out and try this restaurant my family has been RAVING about called Al’s Cafe in Downtown Elgin! I sat upstairs and had this lovely server named Marcie! She recommended the monthly special called “Moonstruck” and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The ambience, service and food is unmatched! If you are looking for a great night out I highly recommend Al’s Cafe!“

“We stopped here while we were in the area for a family wedding. Angie the owner is such an amazing person. She stopped by our table to chat and her warmth and sweet personality was such a welcome change. The service was fast and The food was fresh and so delicious!! “So if I order a cocktail “neat” with rocks on the side I am sure he would charge again for the rocks. Better yet….just include the $2 rocks charge in the drink itself ….don’t put a separate $2 charge for ICE!“

“We just finished celebrating our daughter's college graduation at the Cooper's Hawk in Algonquin. I cannot say enough about the awesome experience we had. Starting with Angelina handling all the details to the planning of the event, to the room being set up just perfect; to Joel and Natalie who were the absolute best servers we could have had; to the delicious food (OMG the salmon) and dessert that was served; and of course, not to mention the wonderful wine tasting bar. All our guests were so impressed! Thank you, Cooper's Hawk, for taking such good care of us. You made our celebration one we will remember.“

“I hardly believe this, but I left today and they forgot to include my coleslaw. I got home and called to mention it. I was told they'd bring the coleslaws to me. I thought it was a joke, like doctors making house calls. Sure enough, they came to my door with the coleslaws, an extra, and a pint of blueberry cheesecake. Unbelievable! I've gone there since they opened. Now I won't go anywhere else. Caring about customers isn't lost! Wonderful people!“

“McDonalds is getting way overpriced and food is....ok at best. Thought I'd try Culvers in FRG. Was NOT dissapointed! For about the same price you get a DELICIOUS, HOT, LOOKS LIKE THE PICTURE burger, huge portion of hot crispy fat fries and a soft drink of your choice! I'm not one to take pictures of my food, but I did! It was a masterpiece! Loved it!“

“My family went here today. All of the staff were wonderful. the pro shop looked great and had lots of great items, everything was clean inside, the course looked really nice, and they even have some virtual golfing booths inside now that the weather is getting colder. We hosted my husband's retirement party here, and the evening was nothing short of spectacular! The atmosphere is perfect blend of rustic warmth and modern charm. We were greeted with friendly smiles and impeccable service from the ENTIRE staff. From drink orders to desserts, every detail was handled with care and professionalism. The party menu was perfect, beautifully presented and the food was outstanding! What really set Old Republic apart was how well they accommodated our group. They helped us throw a retirement party that was personable, joyful and truly unforgettable! A special thank you to Jorge for coordinating every detail of our event; and to Chef for the beautiful presentation of food and the entire staff who made our party a success! We are forever grateful! “This is a new Culver's, still great food, in a modern package. You must try everything but for your first time go with a butter burger, cheese curds, and leave room for custard of your choice.
Next time (there will be a next time) look beyond a burger and try the cod, pot roast sandwich, or soup.
Nothing will disappoint you....
Remember, don't forget the custard!👍“

“Kelsey’s is my favorite place in Lake Barrington!!! The food, service and atmosphere is amazing!!! The decorations for Christmas are beyond awesome. “This restaurant is a hidden gem in the area! If it’s less than 5 stars then its vastly underrated. The fish fry on Friday in Lent was way better than expected, excellent teriyaki salmon dinner and karaoke entertainment by the locals that were extremely talented! (super encouraging also) We’re coming next Friday without fail 7pm“

“Great chicken fingers!!! But if someone in charge could please fix the menu on DoorDash for the mozzarella sticks? It says it comes with marinara sauce, but then makes you select from a list of sauces and marinara is not a choice. So one time I just picked a different sauce and got that sauce and not the marinara and the other time I picked no sauce and didn’t get anything. So if marinara sauce could be added to the sauce selection so there’s no confusion that would be wonderful.“

“I’ve eaten at Bleuroot twice when traveling through Chicago for hockey trips. Every bite has been phenomenal and there have been many “Oh you’ve got to try this” shared plates. The staff are amazing and this is a place where it’s okay to be loud and boisterous and joyful. Thanks to Maria and the crew for a great experience (and excellent customer service mailing me back a pair of prescription sunglasses I left on the table!). Looking forward to a third visit in November!“
