“I’ve eaten at Bleuroot twice when traveling through Chicago for hockey trips. Every bite has been phenomenal and there have been many “Oh you’ve got to try this” shared plates. The staff are amazing and this is a place where it’s okay to be loud and boisterous and joyful. Thanks to Maria and the crew for a great experience (and excellent customer service mailing me back a pair of prescription sunglasses I left on the table!). Looking forward to a third visit in November!“

“Our wedding was on 8/18/2023 and we are still so happy from the perfect day. From the minute we started our tour at Pinstripes with Shannon Schurr, my husband and I knew Pinstripes was going to be the perfect place for our wedding reception. We toured a few other venues, but Pinstripes was perfect. Shannon was so responsive and answered all of our questions along the way. The food tasting was lovely as well and it was a great chance to try all the food and feel confident at our choices. From the tour to the tasting to the reception, everything was seamless and magical. All of our guests absolutely raved about the reception venue and all the wedding guests mentioned it was the most fun wedding reception they have ever been at. The food and drink options were fantastic! We had bowling during our cocktail hour (with socks and bowling shoes included for all guests) and bocci courts open after dinner, which was a huge hit. We reserved the all-seasons outside space, which was well worth the little additional money, and the firepits and decorations (including the flowered backdrop) were a big hit and we didn’t even need to buy any decorations because it was set up so beautifully. The service was excellent throughout the whole night and the linens turned out prettier than we could have pictured! There was also a cool stand for the cake to be displayed while we were cutting it. Many of our guests now frequent for bowling and dinner at Pinstripes and my husband and I do the same.“

As a resident of Crystal Lake I visit this Culver’s very regularly. The food was excellent and the service was quick. “McDonalds is getting way overpriced and food is....ok at best. Thought I'd try Culvers in FRG. Was NOT dissapointed! For about the same price you get a DELICIOUS, HOT, LOOKS LIKE THE PICTURE burger, huge portion of hot crispy fat fries and a soft drink of your choice! I'm not one to take pictures of my food, but I did! It was a masterpiece! Loved it!“

“This is a new Culver's, still great food, in a modern package. You must try everything but for your first time go with a butter burger, cheese curds, and leave room for custard of your choice.

Next time (there will be a next time) look beyond a burger and try the cod, pot roast sandwich, or soup.

All of the staff were wonderful. the pro shop looked great and had lots of great items, everything was clean inside, the course looked really nice, and they even have some virtual golfing booths inside now that the weather is getting colder. When I was a teenager, my dad would take me here when he got off work (when it was only underground) so I could eat pizza and he could have a couple cocktails. Though I live a thousand miles away, I was able to take my kids to this place so they could enjoy the pizza (along with me). Still a great tavern style thin crust. No, I didn’t have any drinks but I was able to get them to open the downstairs for us so my sons could delight in the amazingly unique and memorable decor of the basement. The place above ground has changed a lot, but the pizza, the downstairs pub, and the memories haven’t“

“I am a simple man. I usually get 2 eggs and some kind of meat. This place does a fine job and the other items I have tried off the menu are good as well. Usually not a long wait and has plenty of space even on Sunday. Staff is always friendly. Only complaint is that it can be on the pricier side but that's just the price of doing business nowadays. It says it comes with marinara sauce, but then makes you select from a list of sauces and marinara is not a choice. So one time I just picked a different sauce and got that sauce and not the marinara and the other time I picked no sauce and didn’t get anything. So if marinara sauce could be added to the sauce selection so there’s no confusion that would be wonderful.“

“I have been working at village inn for about 8 months! The family and staff are one of the sweetest genuine people you will ever meet. My nonna was battling cancer for a year and recently passed. The family gave me support and just comfort in general. I don’t only go to village to work, I go there to work and feel like family. Food is awesome, and you will find the hardest working staff. Couldn’t have asked for more supportive bosses and employees. - The restaurant also sent flowers to my Nonnas memorial!“
