“Saw the Referrals at Basecamp yesterday, they were amazing, great music great vibe. Dana, our waitress made the event even more special. She was super professional and fun at the same time. She brought our large party drinks and food consistently without our having to wait and she never once lost her patience with our requests. Between the music, the atmosphere and Dana, the experience was truly great.“

“We loved the ambiance of this Irish Pub! The Christmas decor and lights make it a wonderland! The band was great and the pub has so much charm!
This all made up for the 3 bartenders who were more worried about talking to their friends than waiting on customers. We waited 20 min, as did customers next to us, staff looked right at us and kept talking to their friends. A bartender with curly hair- she actually scowled at us for asking to place a drink order. Exception was one bartender who had very long straight dark brown hair: she was awesome and was doing all of the others work with a huge smile on her face! She was great! It was a busy night that the restaurant could have had higher cash flow if the others focused on drink orders. We'll be back though, really great place!“

“They served the Corned Beef Platter and didn't disappoint! The server we had was perfect for their environment too. We added the corned beef barley soup. OMG YUMMM! I just wish they served it longer than 4 days. They have several other Irish dishes to try as well. I feel like I can't get enough. Lol 😄“

“I stopped by this place while waiting for an oil change nearby. The layout of the restaurant was really fun — you can see the ice rink right next to it, which felt straight out of a high school movie. I loved the classic American diner vibe. It wasn’t too crowded, which made it feel even more local and cozy.
There were claw machines and candy dispensers here and there, which added to the charm. The server was super friendly and welcoming. I ordered a drink, some chili, and a burger. The food wasn’t amazing, but it was decent. Overall, it’s a very chill place. I feel like it’d be a fun spot to stop by once in a while to grab a drink and hang out with a friend.“

“Back when I lived in the area, Irish Times had just opened and I stopped in to have a Guinness. Now, I have had Guinness all over the Chicago area and never has a Chicago pint ever approached the magical, otherworldly flavor of a pint consumed in Ireland. I don't know if it's the water, the proximity to the brewery or just some kind of strange magic that happens to Guinness in Ireland, but I've never had better. That all changed when I drank that first pint at Irish Times. It was easily the best pint of Guinness I've had outside the Emerald Isle. I've since left the area and have had pints all over the United States and Canada. Nothing has approached the quality, freshness and taste of the Guinness at Irish Times in Brookfield. If you are lucky enough to be nearby, don't hesitate to make a detour to the pub. You will not regret it.“

“We held a celebration of life for my brother here today. About 50 in attendance in the stylish, comfortable upstairs area. Despite the fact that I planned this from 400 miles away and without having ever seen the venue, it went off without a hitch due to Mr. David Candiotti and his staff. No surprises. Everything was as promised. The venue is extremely stylish and rustic. Food was delicious and plentiful as were the drinks. Service was fast, efficient and friendly thanks to Mona, Alberto and Olena. I highly recommend.“
“Great old place I love going to rustic old taverns bars, never had a complaint went couple times on a unbusy time. Gentleman Bartender seems nice they actually had BLATZ that on tap that day I went after St. Matthews church. Couple Years ago I’m from Romeoville. Cheers to TOMS Place P.S. I want that old neon sign BCCA collector since 1974.“

“Jeff and his staff were extremely accommodating to our group of 10 ladies all celebrating a big birthday. I called requesting the private dining area and he made sure no one else was seated near us. We were able to have separate checks which isn’t always possible with a large group and even let us bring in birthday cupcakes to share. It’s hard to find a location in Lemont that can accommodate a large group that offers a more private dining area, but Jeff was more than happy to help!“

“Palmer Place honestly had one of the coolest atmospheres. The wooden interior and all the decor made me feel like I was inside some pub back in Ireland. Really relaxed place overall. They have an outdoor patio, and since the weather was nice we took advantage of it and sat outside. Perfect day to just slow down and enjoy the weather. The staff were super nice too and everything felt easygoing from the start.
I ordered the Bourbon Glazed Steak Skewers with wheatberry rice and homemade potato salad. When the food came out the first thing I noticed was how tender the steak looked. First bite confirmed it. The meat was juicy, soft, and had this smoky char flavor from the grill mixed with the sweetness from the bourbon glaze. The glaze itself was really good too. It had that sticky caramelized flavor with a little savory kick behind it, so every bite was a balance of smoky, sweet, and salty all together. The peppers and onions added a nice freshness too.
Honestly the rice and potato salad were both bombsas well. The potato salad especially tasted homemade in the best way. Creamy, flavorful, and perfect with the steak skewers. The whole experience was just really good.“
