Pricing mark up is getting out of hand.
Bought vital farms organic pasture raised eggs for 17 dollars. Expensive but thought was in line with rising egg prices.
Went to Whole Foods down the street for few other things. Noticed these same eggs were 10 dollars!
7 dollar difference for a dozen eggs is ridiculous.
We noticed this with other items as well. Just about done with standard market.
I love Standard Market's Seeded Rye Bread! It is one of the best rye breads to be found anywhere in the west suburbs.
Unfortunately the last two loaves I bought are so very , very salty?
I do bake bread myself (not as good as Standard Market's) I am aware of the role of salt, sugar etc. and their proportions, so why this extremely salty version ?
