“Shane's Deli did a beautiful job with our box lunches on the day of my daughter's wedding. We so appreciated the delivery option and everyone enjoyed their sandwich choices. I ordered the hummus wrap, and it was so fresh and delicious. Thank you for feeding our bridal party, it was much appreciated!“
“I catered from Frankie Deli’s this past weekend for my brother’s birthday. I had my entire family raving about how delicious everything was. I ordered the lasanga, chicken parm and lemon chicken. There was no food leftover. Highly recommend!!“
“The 10” Italian sub sandwich is awesome. Better than any chain sandwich shop by far! The meat&cheese pasta salad was very good. The cabbage rolls are HUGE!!! Very tasty and the cabbage is cooked perfectly. Will definitely stop in again when I’m in the area.“
“Got some polish rye, kabanosy, some raspberry brownie bakery items and chicken noodle soup. All was good except the soup. Tasted weak like dill pickle water and a chicken bouillon cube, no chicken whatsoever. I've had other items that are good, like cucumber salad, the potato pancakes are the bomb with apple sauce and sour cream, the cabbage rolls aren't bad, flavor of meat is good but it's served with some generic tomato soup. I prefer more flavor however I know polish foods can have less of a flavor punch. Regardless I've found many items I like so I'll definitely keep going there.“
“If they joined the 21st century and had online ordering, I would order more often and give Shannon's a fifth star. Others say the same. I dont have time to wait while they make the food. Do they do curbside? The Boar's Head roast beef is very tasty. The sides are amazing.✌️“
“I have been craving a place with great Polish food and I think that I found it!! The tripe soup was fantastic!! So we're the golabki and bigos! It reminded me of my late mother's cooking along with both grandmothers. Keep up the good work. If you ever need a taste tester, I am available!!!??“
“Fresh bagels, served by polite, attentive staff, are what you will find here. They have both breakfast and lunch covered with a variety of sandwiches. The coolers are stocked with every cream cheese flavor you could want. There are plenty of tables for dine in, and the counter service turns out orders quickly. They don't do the bagel twists some locations make, but they have a couple of "bagel bone" options for your dog.“
“This is a Polish grocery store and delicatessen, located in Wood Dale.Just off Irving Park Road, it is easy to find.We went there to order Polish sausage, both smoked and fresh, for Christmas dinner. We also picked up pierogi, with three flavors: sauerkraut, cheese, and potato with cheese.Everything is fresh and tasty!Prices are in line with other stores. This will be a regular stop in the future.“
“$30 for two sandwiches w/ fries and it was very much worth it! The food smelled amazing before we even opened the containers.I got a turkey panini w/ sweet potato fries and my partner got the pastrami rueban w/ regular fries. Waited about 15 minutes. Food was absolutely delicious!“
“If you'd like the Best Kept Secret for getting wedding flowers, go to JEWEL OSCO, and I specifically recommend HOLLY, who works at this location (343 W. Irving Pk. Rd., Addison). Holly not only enjoys doing wedding flowers, she does an absolutely FLAWLESS, beautiful job and a price incredibly reasonable. She met with the bride (our daughter) in Feb. '23 and at that time received all of our daughter's requirements. She then put together an example of the type of flowers that would look best and would be in season for the wedding (Oct. '23) day. My daughter was thrilled! Holly did every arrangement for her, from the arrangements on 18 guest tables, bride's bouquet, 8 bridesmaid's bouquets, 11 men's boutonnieres, those that were placed on the wedding vow canopy and all of the moms and aunt corsages. Every single flower came fresh and beautiful; the arrangements were exquisite and OMG, we saved so much money. On the day of the wedding our wedding planner picked up the order and delivered it to the venue. There was not a single problem in the entire process and throughout it all, Holly was professional, engaging, friendly and wonderful. We“
“Went in for lunch and had a polish sausage with caramelized onions, breaded pork chop, pierogis, and meat & mushroom sauerkraut. The sauerkraut and pierogis were divine. The sauerkraut is savory and bursting with flavor. Pierogis are a tradition in my family and these pierogis were great. They have a nice frozen variety of pierogis if you want to take some home. My girlfriend had the stuffed cabbage and she thought it was great. Will definitely be back for their fresh bread, pierogis and to try more delicious Polish food. Service was excellent, the place was run by 3 lovely Polish ladies. An older gentleman sat next to us and had gotten some cabbage soup that looked delicious. I'd love to try more of their food.Vegetarian options: There are some great cabbage dishes and other things just ask the nice ladies to point out the vegetarian dishes.Parking: It's a strip mall so tons of parking.Kid-friendliness: Lots of sweets for kids, employees seemed like wonderful middle aged women they are probably mothers themselves.“
“Obsessed with this place. Friendly, fresh deli. Aside from the deli, the products are overwhelmingly authentic. Prices are inexpensive for what you're getting.Love love love. My in-laws are amazed at the authenticity and how amazing the food is. ?“
“We were really excited to try this deli shoppe since we love subs. Maybe the hype just set the standards of this place too high for us, but it was just average. If I'm being honest, it's not worth the price of a sandwich as I barely had any indregients in between ny bread. This won't deter me from trying something else from here, maybe one of their pasta salads, as a small business I want to be supportive but I don't think I'll come back for their hoagies.“
“I love this place. My dad is German and we love European snacks. They have turkish delight , they have Kvass, they have the Nicolas the 2nd tea. It's like a mix of European goods. Honest this little place is a hidden gem. Also they have European style meats. It really is amazing.“
“Was on the hunt for decent bagels in the suburbs since going into the city for a bagel is not always ideal. I stumbled upon this place and am so happy I found it! No, the bagels are not a replica of a NYC bagel but for conveniently being in the suburbs, I'm not mad at it. I loved it actually. I am speaking of their bagels as an individual and not comparing it to others. With that in mind, I would give them an 8/10. Their staff is always so warm, welcoming and cheerful. They do have a drive thru which is great. Yes the wait may be long for a drive thru but keep in mind it's made to order so I don't really mind that. I've tried several bagels from here including blueberry, chocolate chip, cinnamon raisin (my fave), onion bagel with Lox cream cheese, everything bagel and a bacon egg and cheese on everything bagel. It hits every time and has yet to disappoint me. This place is easy and has become a new weekend morning go to for me.“
“Great service, I have been in this store several times in the past 60 days, did an order for 15 people, on one trip and they have every sandwich and order correct, with individual names on the wrapper of each sandwich. Again excellent service and the times I went in for lunch everything was very good.“
“My wife and I ordered from this location for the first time today. We used to only go to the rolling meadows location, but since we moved this one is closer for us. The staff who helped us was amazing & we had such a pleasant experience! They helped us get the best deal and made the whole process even better for us! This location is very very clean and organized which was a plus too! Of course the ham and sides we got were amazing (as always) and we will be back soon!“
“I recently ordered a large pan of mostaccioli for a party. Excellent! So we decided to visit the deli in Elk Grove and order a couple of sandwiches for a picnic lunch. Really outstanding. I had the chicken salad, husband had corned beef. Delicious, fresh ingredients, the best bread, and huge. I got 3 meals out of mine. I've never had a sandwich anywhere that compared! Everyone should go there. You won't regret it. Great friendly service too.“
“Had a phenomenal time talking and eating at this wonderful deli!! Extremely kind people!! The food was amazing. I had the double turkey and cheddar on a fresh Kaiser roll and chicken and dumpling soup. Great drink selection. They have Hungarian delicacies also.“
