I can see that Bob Chinn's has gone WAAAAAY down hill. It's just not worth going anymore. The service is poor at best. The food quality has plummeted and the prices have gone way up. The Manager, Dan, blames customers rather than coming over to the table to fix a problem. The servers are neither competent nor friendly, which is indicative of terrible and/or non-existent training and poor management. There are plenty of steakhouses that want your business. we had an excellent experience here today!! Felipe was our waiter and WOW, that guy is awesome!! he was.the best server ever!°° we had a bit of everything.
.steak..scallops...lobster...king crab and all the fixings.... also the best drinks!..Happy 42nd Bob Chinn!!
It used to be great. I'd bragged about it to my wife and we finally made the 2hr drive to go there for our anniversary. My wife spent most of her time picking crab shell out of her crabmeat dish. And my pot pie was cold/uncooked in the center. Had to send it back to get cooked again. The clam chowder was still very good but not worth the drive.

Bob Chinn's Crab House offers consistently great food, with the freshest seafood, prepared perfectly. The menu features a wide variety of delectable options, including world-famous garlic rolls, side dishes, and even amazing tartar sauce. The restaurant also serves delicious Mai Tais and desserts. The overall dining experience is exceptional, making it worth the visit. The copper river salmon is highly recommended and tends to sell out quickly. Though some find it a bit pricey, many feel the quality and atmosphere justify the cost. The total experience was exceptional, with the booth seating allowing for privacy. The servers did not rush guests to order and checked back without pressure. The dinners of Halibut and Swordfish were perfect, as were the sides of red skin potatoes and cole slaw. It is rare to find a salad bar these days, and Chinn's was well-stocked. Guests can top off their dinner with Mai Tais for a great evening.
