We ordered carryout for 3 dishes - lobster meat, Mediterranean whole sea bass, and crabmeat vermicelli. For the lobster meat, we chose the Cantonese style, which basically is stir-fry in soy and pepper sauce. It was pretty delicious, and actually better than our expectation. Visited here on a Monday night, not too packed, walked right on to our table for two....Started the dinning out with some beers (yeah no mai Thai's tonight), garlic rolls, seafood gumbo soup, and fried calamari. Seafood gumbo was ok, thought it lack rice (maybe a small portion on the side?) and alittle more meat? We like meeting our family who's from the Chicago suburbs here because it's close to the midpoint for us in Milwaukee. I am sometimes leery of having seafood in the Midwest unless it's a fancier place because I worry about freshness. But I don't worry at Bob Chin's because it's huge, always crowded - so you know the sheer volume they do means it's fresh. Service is good. Atmosphere is fun and fast paced.
