“Mickey's in Villa Park always delivers. Great flame broiled hamburgers, and a hot dog special that you just can't beat. They have an extensive menu and Grape Nehi! Nuff said. They have a great staff and the place is always clean with lots of parking. If you're looking for a quick and tasty Sloppy Joe on the go they have that too. Portillo's is for tourists. Mickey's is for the people!“

“I have been coming to Teddy's in Darien for years. The food is great, I always get the beef combo and my wife the pretzel burger. Our favorites for sure. Once in a while, we change it up and get the grilled chicken club sandwich very good with there chicago style hotdogs.“

“I came in tonight and was excited because I’ve been craving a jrito crunch and have been for about 3 years and my buddy Carl told all his fb friends that owner is a previous franchisee of jrs and they have the chil ito which is this same xact indgredients (yes same chili and cheese and same chips as jrito everything was phenomenal came from Thornton which is about a half hour plus drive. So so worth the drive I refused to touch anything til I got home so I could enjoy that first bite. Thank you to the owners for preserving the beautiful food of your past establishment only to bring it to your new establishment! Everything was phenomenal!!!“

“Let me tell you if you are looking for something to give your tastebuds a thrill or have a desire to enjoy a hot-dog, this is the place to be! So many other options as well! “I moved from Chicago 40 years ago and haven't been to Parky's since I was a kid. It was our go-to hot dog spot prior to 1972 when we moved from River Forest. Going back was such a thrill for me after so long, and it hasn't changed! I had forgotten that these dogs come off the grill and aren't soaking in hot dog water for hours (not there is anything wrong with an HDW soak). I love a nice char on my dogs, so this was a pleasant surprise. So glad I made the detour!“

I came before they were closing and he took care of me , I absolutely love JJ Fish & Chicken! Every time I go, I order the chicken tenders, and they are always fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The customer service is excellent—everyone is friendly, welcoming, and quick to help. It’s hard to find a spot that consistently delivers great food and service, but JJ Fish & Chicken nails it every time. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and a great experience!“

“My first time there after reading positive reviews. I felt like the hot dog was super skinny and the toppings were ok but way too much celery salt. Folks were not very friendly despite my trying to initiate conversation. It's a ok hot dog place but I have had much better for $3.75 a hot dog!“

“When I entered, I was warmly greeted by a nice young man named Evan. He took my order and was very polite about all the extra changes I requested for my burger. The burger came out fresh and hot. I ordered the combo meal with a drink and received an a lot of extra fries, which were crispy and delicious. I also appreciate the option to choose milk instead of soda or lemonade. This place is a 10/10, and I will definitely come back.“

“Five Guys lived up to their reputation. Tuesday, 5/15/18, was my first time at the Downers Grove location. That Bacon Cheese Burger was great. Just as expected from the many Chicago locations in the past. The two young men on duty offered service with smiles.“

“The food is tasty but I was shocked by the quantity of meat in my gyros plate. It was just a gyros sandwich in a container with fries and fixings. Everywhere else I get a gyros plate it has enough meat for 2 or 3 sandwiches.the subs seemed to be lacking meat as well. Again first time getting it there and was just surprised.“

“Ready friendly service. I ordered a Philly Chicken sandwich with fries. It was not noted that the sandwich was made with mushrooms, but after receiving it I noticed it had mushrooms. I am allergic so I returned the sandwich and they made me a fresh one. My only complaint is that that sandwich would have been superb with honey mustard. Please add honey mustard to your condiment offerings!“

“This is a great dining and go restaurant. There are so many different selections for pretty much anyone. They had gyros and sub sandwiches hamburgers and hotdogs, chicken and salad. Lots to choose from. There is seating inside and plenty of parking easy to get in and off of the restaurant from route 45.“

“This is your classic Chicago style joint with great food that is made to order.
They have everything from burgers to Italian beef as well as gyros. They make their fries from scratch and I recommend you get cheese on the side.
The service is friendly, all the workers there are working hard to make sure everyone is happy.
I highly recommend this spot for a quick bite that is delicious and is authentic Chicago“

“Went to portillo's because it was my birthday today the cashier made a mistake charged me for my free chocolate cake! I told the manger he fix it right away thank you very much my friend I appreciate that! And give me two chocolate cakes for the mistake from the cashier!
