“Asked for "everything except no mayo" on my sandwich. Poor lady started by putting mayo on it (probably out of habit since most folks want mayo) before realizing her mistake - even before I did. She apologized profusely and had them remake me a sandwich. It was literally the most minor inconvenience in the world that cost me a whopping 2 minutes of added wait time, but they still snuck a free chocolate chip cookie in my bag. Completely unnecessary but much appreciated! Yay for people who actually care about their customers (even though, again, in this case, it barely even qualified as an inconvenience to me, lol). Also the sandwich was delicious!“

“Portillo’s delivered. The food was amazing from start to finish. The hot dogs were absolutely on point, full of flavor and done exactly how they should be. Everything we ordered came out fairly quick, fresh, and tasted great.
The overall experience really stood out, and a big part of that was Kenny, the leader on duty. He was friendly, professional, and clearly runs a tight ship. You can tell when a place is well led, and it shows in the service and the quality. Portillo’s is very lucky to have someone like him in a leadership role.

My only complaint was when the iced tea was filled, some tea went on the lid and when I went to drink it, it dripped on my shirt. Ah well...should have looked. Everything else was perfect. “After a week of travel for this Mom, the last thing I wanted to do was to make dinner. This isn't the first time we've been to Glen Prairie and I knew it was just the place I wanted to go. The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!“

“I was in the neighborhood, so thought I would try Happy Bites and am so glad I did! on Wednesday I had the chicken sandwich special for 6.99. ( Sandwich, fries, and drink) Delicious chicken with toppings and lots of mayo on a stand up bun. I don't like them to fall apart. I don't usually eat fries, but these slightly seasoned, yet not salty, crispy hot fries were great! I ordered a side of sweet potato tots and they were equally delicious. I will return! “A lovely downtown sandwich shop. We got an Avocado BLT, Shrimp and Crab Roll, Turkey Club, and a Cubano. Everyone loved their sandwich and enjoyed the ice cream dessert too. Staff was very helpful and I loved the style of the restaurant. Our only critical comment was the turkey club could have used more bacon (which was delicious). We can't wait to come back!“

I took my siblings there for dinner because it was my youngest sisters birthday and when we let the waitress know about her birthday she came back with every worker to sing her happy birthday which was totally unexpected and they also comped the dessert ! We never expected that so it was truly a sweet thing.“
