We were looking forward to dining at Aboyer for Thanksgiving. We started with drinks, cheese puffs and a baguette. The Butternut Squash soup was too sweet for us. The dinner of turkey, pork, stuffing, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and string beans came next. It's not that the food tasted bad, it's just that the food was cold. We asked our server to please heat it up. It came back warmer but drenched in gravy which ruined our meal. We only wanted the food warmer. The gravy was on the table to use at our discretion, not to be poured on in the kitchen. Finally, the dessert came which was the best part of the meal. Very disappointed. We were so looking forward to dining at Aboyer.

The service was exceptional. Unfortunately the food left something to be desired. We enjoyed the bread board. The beet salad, which we asked to split, was boring with a few pieces of beets and some arugula. We were left to split it ourselves. The salmon was perfectly prepared but the steak had so much connective tissue that some pieces weren't chewable. I left with much of the steak still on my plate. Tables were close together so having a conversation was difficult. Disappointed.

They promote specials but are always “out of them” even when we had early reservations. Last night we arrived at 6:30 to get their duck special. The restaurant only had 1/2 of their tables occupied. We were informed that the duck special was already sold out. We had the same disappointment on 2 other occasions and will not be returning again. Their “specials” are actually false advertising.

Junior was an efficient and very engaging server. The food and presentation were top notch.

The food and service are always exceptional. The menu is sufficiently large so as to provide enough choices for all diners.

This is our first visit to Aboyer. We were regular clients of Michael's the previous restaurant that was in this place and owned by the same chef. Michael is an outstanding chef and his food is amazing and delicious. They pour an outstanding cocktail and the price point is excellent - a true gem. We can't wait to return.

The food is excellent. The place was VERY busy so service was not as good as usual. We were there for our anniversary for the second year in a row. Last year we were offered a complementary desert and were kind of disappointed that it wasn't offered again. A little selfish on our part I guess.

A great restaurant for date night, girls night out or a guy's get together. The food is fabulous. You will thank me later. Just go.

My wife and I have become regulars for Aboyer's happy hour. Great seasonal drink and small plate options. Last time in, I had the Elder Fashioned, a delicious take on an Old Fashioned. Among the small plates, we return to the French Cheese Puffs, Croque Monsieur, and Pomme Frites. C'est magnifique! We love the interior, modern and welcoming. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. It is quiet enough to hold a conversation. This is an overlooked gem.

Food was excellent as usual. We had a new server who was very friendly. However he needed more training. Timing was a bit off, dirty plates left on table too long etc. Good guy but needs more experience

Sat inside. Enjoyed items off of the happy hour menu and a lovely white burgundy. As always, did not disappoint.

The room is dated and definitely not a lively crowd! Good for special occasions, although several people there were locals and frequent diners. I had the escargot and the prawns - both good if you like garlic, but quite oily. The chef was very accommodating and made a dessert I wanted for my birthday, even thought it was not on the menu.

Trout was not fresh and texture was mealy and discolored. Waiter was kind enough to debone the Dover Sole add customers request Peach ice cream peach ice cream with caramel. Not that exciting.

Went for the happy hour menu. All portions were mini, but delicious. Onion soup was amazing and just enough. Beef dish delicious. We also ordered off the menu. Bread service. Broccolini and dessert. The server told me they had a peach cobbler, which I adore. I was pretty disappointed, very bland, no crumble topping and a tiny dollop of Gelato for 14.00. So two desserts were 30 bucks with tax. We would definitely return but skip the desserts.
