We were looking forward to dining at Aboyer for Thanksgiving. We started with drinks, cheese puffs and a baguette. The Butternut Squash soup was too sweet for us. The dinner of turkey, pork, stuffing, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and string beans came next. It's not that the food tasted bad, it's just that the food was cold. This is our first visit to Aboyer. We were regular clients of Michael's the previous restaurant that was in this place and owned by the same chef. Michael is an outstanding chef and his food is amazing and delicious. They pour an outstanding cocktail and the price point is excellent - a true gem. We can't wait to return.
The food is excellent. The place was VERY busy so service was not as good as usual. We were there for our anniversary for the second year in a row. Last year we were offered a complementary desert and were kind of disappointed that it wasn't offered again. A little selfish on our part I guess.
