Peet's Coffee in downtown Evanston is known for its friendly and prompt service. Despite being busy, the staff is always helpful with lots of smiles. The location may be crowded with Northwestern students, but the outdoor patio is a great spot when it opens in Spring. The drip coffee is good with half-priced refills, and they offer a variety of breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and muffins. The clean and bright space in Winnetka is great for grabbing a cup of coffee, although parking can be a challenge with only street parking available.
