“Five star for this team at Mission BBQ in Kenosha ? My husband and I felt as if we were treated like family coming in. From the beginning to the end of our meal. “Hannah at the Gurnee location was great! In the beginning we had reached out to the Kenosha location on multiple occasions with a lack of response so we pursued through Hannah at the Gurnee location. We had to give a couple points marked down because we ran out of salad and not all of our guests were able to have salad. We even paid for food for 150 people when our guest count was 130 because we wanted to make sure there was enough for everyone. Also, they forgot to lay out the cake cutting utensils next to the cake for my husband and I to cut it so we had to wait awkwardly for a couple of minutes. This was the only negative though! Everyone raved about our food and they LOVED the brisket and smoked turkey. Hannah was responsive and even called during her maternity leave to make sure there weren't any issues, and see if there’s anything she could help with. They did a great job with setup, cake cutting, and dessert. They were super affordable too! I highly recommend them for your wedding!“

“There are none of the seating chairs. I ordered a medium of fried okra. That's my craving. There is no fried okra available elsewhere. Somehow it was so huge for one person but fine with me. I ate full of it. LoL. Keep in mind, as for medium, it is good for family or large. I ordered an extra large mixed hot and mild rib tip. OMG. It went to heaven. So soft and perfect combination.

Bathroom needs a makeover please. The kitchen is so clean. The staff treated me so warmly.

“The chicken was tasty, however, it's a bit of a nuisance that the smallest amount of chicken you can buy is a 10 piece. EVERY fried chicken place in the world have 2+ chicken combos. No 1 person can eat 10 pieces of chicken in 1 setting, true, the chicken can be taken home, however, for out of towners (which they get a lot of) can not. They should serve combos like other spots, they'll make more money.Update: ok, so after driving from Chicago back to Michigan, I realized a few things. 1. The "wings" weren't wings, they were actually wing dings, and the thought of eating 10 wings just for myself was outrageous, however, I am kicking myself, because I could have totally eaten 10 of those wing dings. I got the chicken around 1145 am, got home close to 8pm, and those buggers were still crunchy, yes CRUNCHY. I popped them in the air fryer and they were DELICIOUS. Best wing dings I've ever eaten in my life! Get the 10 wing dings, you will eat every one. I got the Galbi spicy ?. Even the pickled radishes were fresh and delicious. 5 out of 5 for me, and I dont even like chicken like that.“

“I hadn’t been to this Dickey’s in a while. But this is my second stop in a week. I’ll definitely be coming back more frequently. Everything we have had has been very good. Especially the “Westerner” sandwich! The pulled pork and sides are also very good. The staff, including the owner, are always incredibly attentive and make sure everyone is enjoying their meal. It’s clear they truly care about creating a great experience for their guests. I’m excited to make this place a regular stop again!“

“My favorite diner in Waukegan. In full honesty, I love the small hole-in-the-wall aesthetic. Some may find it cramped, but I think it's cozy. I love sitting at the bar, drinking the coffee, watching the cook do their thing. Menu is good. Staff is kind.“

“This restaurant could probably survive (with some lower cost) outside of a theme park. I only have tried one thing, the pulled cajun chicken and Mac and cheese) and they were really good. There's a selection of sauces at your table. If you have a dining pass, I would suggest visiting this place. If you don't, it will cost you a good penny (18-16 per entree, that does include a side).“

This trip, Beef Chop Suey, Combo Fried Rice, Chicken Egg Rolls and Vegetable Egg Foo Young, as always the food was delicious, portions were large and service was very friendly.
