“We usually frequent another family-style Korean restaurant in Schaumburg - which we've loved over the years! Wanted to try something new for a change.Ambience is very cozy - booths (instead of an open space) with traditional touches!Food is DELICIOUS - let's get that out of the way!Some observations:* Salad/sides - tasty, free refills, 5 choices* Bulgogi and pork dish - lots of veggies used as fillers. My kids are 'carnivores' and as such don't eat any veggies. They see meat and attack! The amount of meat we get in each plate is very less.* They should have an option without veggies. We ended up buying 4 plates of bulgogi and 2 plates of pork - just for 3 adults and 2 young kids. One of them had miso soup and I had the bibimbap! Price is reasonable but with volume of less meat, it adds up.* They don't have individual miso soup bowls for kids. It's a large bowl with greens already in it. My kids HATE greens.* Wish there was a easy way to call the waiters/waitresses - no call button and with only 1 person speaking in English, you are at the mercy of that person crossing you or the other waiters passing the message! This also impacts how quickly they could bring things. For ex. we asked for the lettuce and miso paste at the beginning but got it towards the end!* Dessert was a nice suprising touch and we all loved it!Will definitely go back there...now that I know their menu and system better.“
“I rarely write reviews but after our meal from Cluckers, I felt I must. Our first time getting food from Cluckers/Wilmette and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The first impression was the very friendly and efficient staff. Lovely to deal with! Then the meal...no fast food flavors here, it tasted more like homemade! Every aspect of our dinner was delicious: chicken, cornbread muffins, slaw and Caesar salad. No doubt we will be back to try something else!“

It had a light dressing on really fresh greens and freshly roasted beets and mandarin oranges. Craigs salad was Ahi Tuma on greens. I loved the marinade and intense freshness of his salad. From ribs to brisket, pork belly to sweet potato, everything was dynamite. And enhanced with the homemade bbq sauces, this was such a treat. Gus puts so much love and effort into the meats he prepares, you owe it to yourself to try this place. From the outside it looked like a sit down restaurant, but when we went in it was more of a fast food Greek gyro joint with no d (nothing wrong with that in my opinion). We both got a gyro sandwich and shared an onion ring side. We got our food pretty fast and it was delicious! However, I do think they kinda went overboard on the onions but that's probably just me. I literally bought a charcoal grill and that's the only way I grill now is because of this place because that flavor that the charcoal gives nothing else compares. I don't know if any other place that uses a charcoal grill. It's a literally just steak on French bread no sauce no toppings and it's the best thing ever because of how they marinate it and grill it on a charcoal grill. The sauce they have on the table is the best sauce I've ever had I don't know how to make it but I want to know it goes amazing on the fries and I loaded up on the sandwich to the fries and coleslaw and salad are excellent as well. The jumbo fried shrimp are amazing Family owned Greek restaurant doing things the old-school way can't compare this place has been around for over 50 years I believe always a bunch of people I'm sure everything else is delicious too but I've just never not wanted their steak sandwich to try anything else and it's what I recommend for everyone you will not be disappointed. The hot fudge sundae really impressed my neighbor at the bar and I ate all of that too but I will say the ice cream was a bit freezer burnt. Everyone should just order dessert more often. “5 star food and service every time. Tonight we had the pleasure of being waited on by Lupe. Lupe is very passionate making sure he provides excellent customer service for his guests. He knows the menu and explained it in great detail at our table. He offered suggestions when asked and the suggestions were spot on. We started with the corn bread which was warm and the soft butter only made it better. For dinner most of our table had ribs. The ribs were cooked to perfection with the sauce ratio being spot on. You can taste the freshness of the ribs let me tell you, delicious! A few ordered the NY Strip steak with the added optional char, it was amazing. For dessert our table shared a few sundaes and the brownies a la mode. OMG, what a way to end the perfect dinner! Thank you Lupe and all the competent staff for a great dinner.
