“Carson's Prime Steaks & Famous Ribs (in Deerfield) is hands down one of thee best places to have a meal with your spouse, a friend, or your family. My wife and I've been here twice in the past 3 months (birthday, and just because). We love the ribs, chicken, and the gigantic pork chop. While the food is Exceptional, the service is even better. The manager was very Gracious in stopping by our booth to make sure we were enjoying our meal.

“Bluegrass Restaurant is a wonderful, family-owned restaurant. We have been ordering takeout and eating in since we came to Highland Park three years ago. The owners take pride in managing the restaurant on a daily basis. They prioritize customer service, great food, and a warm, welcoming experience. Last night, they hosted the Highland Park/Highwood Professional Moms group. We had only expected 15 women to attend, but 25 women ended up coming. The owners and the staff were AMAZING. They brought over additional chairs. They provided us with top-notch service, including separate checks. They respected us when we were speaking to the group and quietly took orders in the background. I can't say enough nice things about this restaurant.“

“Oh my goodness. The best BBQ we have had in Illinois. We have traveled to Tennessee, Missouri, Chicago and all over the Chicago suburbs and this place takes the cake. (Peg leg in Nashville still is the over all best we’ve had) We happened upon Porkey’s after our Chicago plans fell through. Wow!!!!!!!!!! We had several plates of meat, a kids meal, sides, and dessert and our bill was less than $50. The staff were friendly, attentive and they offered great suggestions. I was so satisfied with our whole experience. From beginning to end a great flipping meal. They also had the bears pre season game on. Everything was so tasty. I will say this… and it may be fighting words, but their lumpia were better than stix and noodles. We had brisket sandwich, 1/2 lb of pulled pork, chicken fingers, a bao bun, brisket lumpia and bread pudding. On sundays they also have apple cider donuts so yeah we had those too! 5 stars from beginning to end.“

“Hubs and I came last night for an impromptu date night. The holiday décor was absolutely beautiful, you can tell a lot of effort and attention went into it. The staff were all super friendly and helpful! We arrived during the dinner rush, and given it’s the holiday season, I’m sure there’s an uptick in guests, but we were still seated within about 15–20 minutes, which was impressive. There is a one-hour dining limit during this season, I understand they’re turning tables quickly to accommodate everyone, especially having worked in the industry myself. However, I was really disappointed that every single item we ordered was cold. I don’t usually like to complain, so I didn’t mention it at the time, assuming it was just due to how busy the restaurant was. But after reading other reviews, it seems this may be a recurring issue, which is unfortunate. I’m not sure I would return, but on a positive note, the atmosphere was lovely and the staff were wonderful. Hopefully they can work with the kitchen to make sure the food is served hot, because everything else about the experience was great!“

We eat Korean food often and in many different cities. This place was pretty legit. Great authentic flavors.
The bugolgi was delicious, the dumplings were good and the Japchae (chapchae) was amazing.
Honestly the cost is great as a lot of Korean BBQ places overcharge but not here.
Highly recommend it.“

“This is my 2nd time here and I had a great experience twice, 1 for lunch and 1 for dinner. We tried their Chungkiwa BBQ special and it was very good with multiple meat options, all very good quality and flavorful. My favorite was the beef and the spicy pork.
The servers were super nice. AND we got ice cream after!
The restaurant has a very interesting interior design. I love everything about it. Will definitely come back.“

“Such a chill cozy spot for some kbbq. We came here for some grilled gopchang and daechang and it did NOT disappoint. The intestines came out so crispy and delicious! They also did not skimp on the banchan, this is one of the best banchan spreads I’ve seen. The hubby’s fave of the night is the Wagyu boneless short rib 😋“

“Returned for the first time since 1985! Owner established that they’ve been there since 1978. Didn’t recognize anything but just wanted to bring home a Gyros and I did. Highly recommend it. Pita was perfect. Was still warm when I got home. Huge sandwich with an incredible amount of gyros and an awesome tzatziki sauce. Fresh tomatoes and onions—my mouth is watering 5 hours later writing this review. They’re still going strong after almost 50 years cause they’re friendly, consistent and serve great food!“

“I've gone here multiple times with my parents for lunch and they've eaten here many more times than that. The day after my mother passed away my father and I came here for lunch after starting to deal with necessary arrangements. My father mentioned my mother's passing and everyone there was beyond nice and comforting. Christine (owner, manager?) came over and spent at least 20 minutes talking to us and encouraging a good mood in my father. She couldn't have been nicer and even offered some help for the shiva that was absolutely above and beyond. “This is my second time now visiting Meat Moot at the Randhurst location, and once again, I left completely thrilled! The first time I had the beef brisket, and this time I tried the lamb brisket and ooofff 😮‍💨 The quality of the meat here is smoked to perfection. Very juicy, tender, and flavorful. The unlimited sides, sauces, and vegetables are a bonus. We couldn’t get enough of everything! The staff was so kind and attentive throughout our meal. It was also my mom’s birthday and they surprised us with a free blueberry cheesecake that was simply delicious! The crumble cake inside, mascarpone filling and blueberry jam on top was soooo yummy. We left with very full bellies and happy hearts 💕 Our experience was wonderful and we’ll definitely be back!“

“First time at this location as we were visiting my son and daughter in law and was truly disappointed about dinner . Ordered herb crusted chicken with a side kick of shrimp and got a plain grilled chicken breast and let manger know and she offered nothing but got a new actual herb crusted chicken 15 minutes later after everyone was about done with dinner ! Been to Texas by our house several times and ordered this same thing and never got this kind of service ! Not even a sorry let me make it right !“

For $32 ayce, it includes two types of short rib, marinated pork neck, pork brisket, and prime brisket and beef belly, that is the best bang for your buck I have seen and the quality is superb. I will definitely be coming back!“
