“Spontaneous road trip to Michigan led us to this charming lake front bistro. We were greeted with a smile, and "find a seat." As we made our way to the back by the window to take in the view of Lake James, we were happily distracted by the nautical ambiance. We perused the surprisingly high end menu, but reasonable pricing and I settled on the Cuban. It was piled high with a variety of meats and each bite was terrific. My husband is vegan and was able to find a delicious flatbread to enjoy. The toppings could have been more, but the flavor was there. The only miniscule complaint I have or rather suggest, is to move the large trash can that was on the porch imparing our view of the lake.Bravo Waterfront Bistro ?“
“I've been here twice and the food is so good!On the first visit, I had tuna steak which was cooked perfectly - full of flavor and tender, but not overwhelmed by spices - and I believe my husband got the wild Alaskan pollock dinner. On the second visit, we started with the spinach balls and spinach and artichoke dip - both were so good! Not greasy or too heavy, but definitely full of amazing flavor. For meals, I had the chicken delicious which was really good (I didn't know if I would like the pineapple, but it added so much flavor without being overwhelming) and I believe my mom got a country-fried steak sandwich.I also love the sweet potato fries and the sauce they come with.Note ⭐ The menu photos are from my first visit, so they are probably not current anymore, as I cannot find a few items that I know we have ordered.“
“Had a party of around 20 people after my grandmother's funeral today. She was a regular at this restaurant and we were not expecting so many people to come with us, but Timbers accommodated us with so much sympathy and understanding! Service was great, food was delicious, and we left feeling comfort. Thank you Timbers for always taking care of my grandma all these years! She sure loved the reuben!“
