Great experience! We didn’t know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. The wine was really good. My wife had one of her favorite wines she’s ever had called “river water.” The view and setting were really nice looking over the country fields. And their pizza was really good. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Acres Away Winery, located near Auburn, Indiana, offers a peaceful setting with a welcoming atmosphere both indoors and outdoors. Guests can enjoy three free wine tastings, and the knowledgeable staff will guide them through a selection that includes dry whites, reds, and even some ciders on tap, like the Watermelon Mint cider. The location features grapes and other crops, with wildflowers and picnic tables adding to its charm. Inside and on the patio, seating options are comfortable and inviting.
The menu includes delicious wood-fired pizzas such as the Spicy Sausage & Mushroom and Pesto Margherita, along with appetizers like bruschetta, spinach & artichoke dip, and a huge Milwaukee-style soft pretzel served with beer cheese and honey mustard. Visitors can also try the candied raspberry wine slushy, which many find really good, though some wish there were more flavor options. The pretzel comes with cinnamon honey butter and beer cheese, which are highly praised. The wines are all good, with favorites including peach wine, Norton red, and Brambles sweet wine, often bought by guests. Acres Away Winery is a great spot for a relaxing visit, with live music and a pleasant atmosphere. Whether a local or just passing through, it is definitely worth a visit for its ambiance, company, and tasty food and drinks.
