“Today we stopped in to hangout and eat after Sketching the wonderful homes on Beverly Shore. 1st the staff was amazing in accommodations for our group. Dawn was super awesome with us. Then the foooood.. Oh my goodness. It was delicious and very well presented. Thank you to everyone and you'll be seeing us all back again soon.“

“We are on vacation at Indiana Dunes and stopped in at Dog Days today after lunch for a treat. Great place, and AMAZING staff! Our kids, ages 5 and 2, changed their minds on what they wanted a couple of times and the two young ladies working were so patient with us as they took our orders. Very clean and a great atmosphere - My kids loved watching the little train overhead. And of course, the ice cream was delicious! Also, they have a family restroom with a changing table, which may not be high on most people’s list but that can be so hard to find in these little specialty shops and as a family with two littles, having those facilities easily available is just a very nice bonus. Highly recommend :)“

“We were traveling through the area and stopped for a bit of breakfast. So glad we did, as it was very yummy. I had the Captains Breakfast (biscuits/gravy) and hubby had Makn Bacn (BLT with egg). Highly recommend both. We are definitely adding this as a necessary stop when we are in town! Sat outside with nice covered porch. Quiet area, with a park across the street-we even saw a deer in the park.“

“Me and my girlfriend went here to try something new. We had came here to get brunch and the food was amazing and good price. I got the chicken and waffles she got one of the skillets. Bradly was our server he was so nice and gave us time to look at the menu overall amazing“

“The ‘what the cluck?’ and ‘andouille po boy’ were both delicious! The catfish nugz were super soft and tasty too. A little salty after eating a couple of ‘em though.

I personally would come back here to have the ‘what the cluck’ bao burger and nugz again.

We also tried out some of the seasonal ciders. My favorite was the apple caramel cider. After trying some ciders, we traveled to Valparaiso and visited Misbeehavin’ Meads to purchase a couple drinks for friends and family.

“These poor workers. We received a mailer that said $10 for any pizza, any crust, any size and toppings throughout the month of April with pickup or delivery. We did order one pizza to pick up but there were only 2 guys managing the store while running ragged while answering the phone and making pizzas.“
