Food and service were both excellent. The mango margarita was also fantastic. There is nothing particularly unique that sets this apart from other Mexican restaurants, however it is consistently good across the board.
El Ranchero has a good solid menu. Their food is consistently tasty and prepared fast and hot. My only gripe this visit was no one came by to refill our drinks, so once the food was delivered, we didn't see our server until the check was delivered.

We came in for lunch while on a road trip. Great atmosphere, super nice and courteous staff. The food was absolutely delicious and we received our entrées in what must be record time. I highly recommend eating here. I will definitely return whenever I'm in Bloomington.
