“Did some reading on the Standard Ice Cream shop in Bourbon, IN. I took a drive to check it out and have lunch. It's a nice easy going ice cream / lunch dinner. The menu is simple and easy for them to manage. Service was fast and friendly. It is also an antique shop with with all sorts of interesting items. kids would get a kick out off looking at items and hearing what the item is, and used for. I will be going back again.”

“This has been my favorite pizza place since I was a kid and they first opened such an amazing taste and their breadsticks are heavenly delicious. I made my gf try it week or two in and she fell in love with the pizza and me simultaneously I believe. Sad seeing other locations close 😢 but as long the OG bourbon store stays i'll be ok lol”

“I’ve been going to Journeys in for years now. But recently it’s gotten a lot better. I’ve noticed a change in the food. I’ve noticed a change in the drinks an experience that I didn’t think could get better has gotten a lot better. Highly recommend. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Every time I come to this location I leave satisfied. I've been under the weather so I've actually ordered twice this week, and both times have been the best I've ever had. Came in for pickup tonight, Oct 23 425 pm and whoever the lady in the subway head wrap is that's making sandwiches is a literal sunshine. 10/10 queen 👑”

“I really want to leave four stars, but the food is delicious and the staff always friendly so I’m leaving five stars with a disclaimer. We have seen Amish patrons walk in and get seated immediately while other people have been waiting for a quite awhile. I guess that’s a minor annoyance considering the quality of the food and service.

The biscuits are arguably the best thing on the menu! Make sure you give them a try. Ask for one from the kitchen if you get the buffet because the ones on the buffet are not the delicious home made ones.”

“Great food! We got the mozzarella sticks (nice cheese pull, great flavor). For main we shared the fried tenderloin sandwich and the Italian beef sandwich. The Italian beef was AMAZING. It's like roast meat. The tenderloin was huge and also great. The only reason the food got 4 stars was I'm picky on my tendy and wanted a little more flavor but it was still a great sandwich. Awesome prices too. We will be going back ALOT”

“I don’t get to Mentone very often these days. My always stop has been Java Jack’s.

The first couple times I stopped in Jack was giving everyone a piece of chocolate cake no matter what they ordered. When I said I didn’t order chocolate cake Jack said, “I know, everyone gets cake!” He wanted cake so he made cake and shared it with everyone.

I came back this time to see the place renamed Egg Town Coffee. I thought it was over. I decided to try the new place and found out that it’s real good! And the menu still reflects Java Jack’s.

Then Jack and his Grandson came in and sat with his friends visiting. I guess I will continue to make Egg Town Coffee the stop when I’m in the area.

“The only reason I gave the atmosphere 4 stars is because I usually go to the family side and it could use a little extra personality ;) But the last time I was there they had added a few more signs etc so it was better. The bar side is lively and fun and the service is great! Food is always good. Last time we were there was a Friday and the food was served quickly. Cassie was on the ball with drinks and making sure we had what we needed on the family side, even tho they were busy in the bar. Great small-town option for lunch or dinner”

“I can’t rave enough about Bourbon Street Pizza! In the middle of the snowstorm they stayed open late to take our order while we were waiting for police to arrive after our slide off. THEN OFFERED TO DELIVER TO US!! We had amazing delivery guys! They were so kind! And the pizza was delicious!!”

“This is the FIRST Subway location that has not messed up our order and had it ready on time. I was politely greeted by a young woman when I first entered. The other locations never greet me when I enter. Our order was perfectly made. The subs weren't sloppy and floppy. The salad was amazing! It tasted really good and was very nice looking in it's container. Overall I am extremely pleased with the Subway in Mentone, IN.”

“Stopped in August 20 at 8 pm. Long black haired kid with earring got my order. Incredible customer service that you can almost never find. Didn’t catch his name, but if the managers reading, find out who was working that shift and give that kid a promotion. Great place.”
