“I went to Hummus Republic for the first time tonight!!! OMGosh…it was amazing!! Starting right when I walked in I told them I was a newbie and my server walked me thru the menu from start to finish! Made great suggestions and offered a couple taste testing and sent me home with a fantastic Bowl meal plus so filling I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow!!! “This is my 3rd or 4th time at Hummus Republic. The food is consistently excellent. Today I tried the Earth Burger. This this is HUGE and delicious (I have enough for at least one more meal)! Sweet potato fries - excellent, and I tried their new cinnamon sugar pita chips - WOW! Tahini Shake is super tasty. My only recommendation on the shake is that they need larger (circumference) straws. A regular straw is too narrow for this thick shake. “Had been craving fried chicken for a while so googled and found out about Shani’s Secret Chicken/Chapati…..so glad we tried it and I am surprised no one mentioned it before. Ordered both the chicken sandwiches…tandoori & spicy…leg & thigh, Masala Fries, Nihari with naan, Beef Bihari paratha wrap and both Desi & Kashmiri tea. Loved every item that we ordered. “Pollo Special is currently my favorite dish here. The chief makes a creamy sauce that can only be found at the Avon 10th and Avon Avenue location. We have known Julio for several years and we always enjoy dining here. For those who don't like Jalapeños, I suggest ordering the Thresa Special with cheese sauce. It is not spicy at all, but very good.“

It’s everything you want a restaurant like this to be - a quiet family business with a mother cooking and daughter working up front. The catfish green curry is incredible, and the prices are reasonable in today’s economy.

The online ordering was easy, the young lady I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and our delivery driver was very professional and friendly. “Fast cheap clean and easy. Flight was delayed and restaurants were closed. I had a Baja chicken wrap and ate it so fast I didn’t take a picture and this salad. Containers are nice and sealed well.
