“Chris and his staff from Burgerhaus put on our event for the Valparaiso Girl's Basketball team. It was our end of the year banquet. Because of the size of the party, 110 people, they were unable to facilitate us in their space, however, they were able to use LePeep's space for the event. Chris coordinated everything with us as we went through the planning process. He was thoughtful, polite, kind, accommodating, and quick to help solve any issues. The food was DELICIOUS! It was cooked on-site, was hot and so so tasty! We had sliders with all the fixins, mac & cheese, salad with many dressings, and, of course, their delectable French fries! There was PLENTY of food for everyone. They allowed us to bring our own cake for dessert. They accommodated our screen and other technology that we brought in. Chris and his staff helped us to move the tables and chairs whevever we needed to in order to allow everyone to sit where they wanted and still see the presentations. If this wasn't my daughter's senior year, I would be contacting Chris and his phenomenal staff for another banquet!”

The green curry was absolutely amazing and that is coming from someone who has eaten Thai food for over 30 years and has traveled all around for work. They import their coconut milk from Thailand! “This was our first time here, and we got there unbeknownst 2 mins before closing. But Darnell welcomed us with open arms anyway. He was our server, host, cashier, busser and bartender. Let me start off by saying that he is such an awesome person with the best attitude and great recommendations. He made a delicious margarita ( the best I've ever had-margaritas are my favorite drink and I'm a former bartender/server for years) and the food was also on point. It came really hot, fresh and quick. We ate everything on our entire plate! The establishment was very clean and welcoming. The people next to us were first timers, too and they were also impressed and complimenting. We all left happy and full. We will be coming back and bringing more people to see him. Thank you for the great experience. We can't wait to share this place with our friends. Darnell, you rock!”

“Stopped by to celebrate my mother’s birthday and the entire visit was amazing! Plenty of parking, including a good amount of handicapped spots, no long line on a Sunday evening, clean look with professional team. Our reservation was ready for us even though we’d shown up a touch early, our waitress was a sweet younger woman with black hair neatly tucked back- respectful, patient, and observant. She did a wonderful job keeping our drinks filled and making sure we enjoyed our experience. A model employee, everyone seemed well trained and guest forward. Our soup and salad orders arrived at the perfect time, then our meals were delivered in the same fashion- everything was delicious! My creamy pesto tortellini was absolutely divine and I adored the pine nuts mixed in, the serving size was great as well! Overall a good visit and for the level of service I would say well worth the price.”

“We are on vacation at Indiana Dunes and stopped in at Dog Days today after lunch for a treat. Great place, and AMAZING staff! Our kids, ages 5 and 2, changed their minds on what they wanted a couple of times and the two young ladies working were so patient with us as they took our orders. Very clean and a great atmosphere - My kids loved watching the little train overhead. And of course, the ice cream was delicious! Also, they have a family restroom with a changing table, which may not be high on most people’s list but that can be so hard to find in these little specialty shops and as a family with two littles, having those facilities easily available is just a very nice bonus. Highly recommend :)”

“I love this place. I stopped in one day with my husband and was pleasantly surprised. It's a cute older building but everyone was so nice and the food was good. It felt like the old breakfast diners in the 1970's and 80's. If you want to get away from the aggressions of today's society stop in at Peggy Sues diner.”

“This woman is an angel in disguise! I needed a sheet cake and cupcakes for my daughter's graduation party. They also had to be dairy free. Plus, I needed it in less than a week. Our original plan fell through at the last minute. My mom contacted several bakeries and they either couldn't facilitate a dairy free cake, or do it on such short notice. Not only was Val willing to accept the challenge, she went above and beyond! She made several trips to different stores to find the perfect colored sprinkles. She and my mom touched base numerous times prior to the party date to make sure everything was going perfectly! She went out of her way to make this cake and cupcakes PERFECT for my daughter! Not only were they beautiful, but they were absolutely delicious! These were the best dairy free cakes we've ever had! The frosting was amazing! We got so many compliments and nobody could believe they were dairy free! That evening we got home from the party, and received a phone call from Val making sure my daughter was happy with the cakes! You just don't get this type of customer service and such personal attention to detail anymore. Without a doubt we will be return customers!! Val, I cannot thank you enough for everything!”
