Service: Bailey was great and super welcoming. Zippy was the MVP by doing the dishes behind the bar when it wasn’t her job to help everyone else. It was a Saturday night and they got a ton of people at once. They communicated with us well and made it all work with great service.
Atmosphere: It’s clean, organized and inviting.
Food: I have a gluten allergy and a lot of times it is an afterthought. Haven’t had a great chicken sandwich in a long time....read full review
I really appreciate the variety of gluten free options they have here! I had the fish and chips as well as the cheese curds. All of the food we had was delicious and I will definitely be back!

Ash & Elm Cider Co. Carmel Taproom is a casual, easy spot for good cider and solid food. The selection of ciders is legit, with options that are crisp, fruity, or dry. The create your own flight is a great move for trying different types, and the warm mulled cider is absolutely delicious. The food is serviceable and satisfying, doing exactly what it needs to do and pairing well with the drinks. Specific items include the pretzel, the Mediterranean bowl, and the smashburger, with fries. They note that the food is all gluten free.
The vibe is very easy and not fancy, a place to show up casual, meet friends, and hang without feeling rushed. The patio is a noted feature. Service is consistently friendly, chill, attentive, and knowledgeable. The decor is generic with bright lights. It is a family-friendly environment where many bring small kids. While the food is not especially creative and can sometimes be bland or salty, the cider and the consistently good, unpretentious time are the main draws.
