“Cute little food spot in Chesterton. they make iced and hot coffees/Lattes. i ordered their special snickers latte and raspberry cheesecake stuffed french toast. Very very good. there was inside and outside seating available. Staff is kind and fast. they also have pastries at the front that you can get when youre all finished.“

“I've been meaning to leave a review for so long and I finally remembered to take a picture before I started shoveling food into my face!
Lemon Tree is my favorite local restaurant for a number of reasons
1. The menu is plentiful and has a good variety of flavor options.
2. Everything is consistently good (you MUST try the falafel)
3. Portion sizes are consistently good.
4. The staff is ALWAYS kind and helpful.
5. They have GF pita that is actually GOOD!
When you want something that isn't a sandwich, taco, or pizza, this place definitely scratches that itch.“

“Nick, the owner of Albano’s, showed our family a level of generosity we will never forget. I reached out to him to cater my mom’s 75th birthday. She comes from an Italian family her grandfather emigrated from Alessandria del Carretto and she is very particular about her Italian food. Albano’s is by far her favorite restaurant and truly blows every other place out of the water. This birthday meant so much because my mom hasn’t been well. I wanted it to be special and intimate. When my husband picked up the food, Nick insisted we not pay. We were completely overwhelmed by his kindness. The food was absolutely incredible and everyone raved about it. We can never thank Nick enough. If you want authentic Italian food made with heart, Albano’s is the place.“

“We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and Jordan and Nicole were so welcoming. They helped make suggestions on coffee and tea. The drinks were very well made and Jordan asked if we would like the banana bread we bought warmed up. Such nice personal touches in the coffee shop. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended if you are ever in the area.“

“Chris and his staff from Burgerhaus put on our event for the Valparaiso Girl's Basketball team. It was our end of the year banquet. Because of the size of the party, 110 people, they were unable to facilitate us in their space, however, they were able to use LePeep's space for the event. Chris coordinated everything with us as we went through the planning process. He was thoughtful, polite, kind, accommodating, and quick to help solve any issues. The food was DELICIOUS! It was cooked on-site, was hot and so so tasty! We had sliders with all the fixins, mac & cheese, salad with many dressings, and, of course, their delectable French fries! There was PLENTY of food for everyone. They allowed us to bring our own cake for dessert. They accommodated our screen and other technology that we brought in. Chris and his staff helped us to move the tables and chairs whevever we needed to in order to allow everyone to sit where they wanted and still see the presentations. If this wasn't my daughter's senior year, I would be contacting Chris and his phenomenal staff for another banquet!“

“Always a great experience dining in or carrying out. Love how fresh and delicious the ingredients are. From starters, to salad, wraps, calzones, or pizza. “12/1/25 I decided to give them a shot and I must say that my experience was truly delightful and I was completely amazed at how fast my food came out I ordered the eggs Benedict and the eggs were poached to perfection this place has the potential to be one of my top spots, for take out I went with the corn chowder soup to enjoy when I got home and after putting it in my microwave sometime later that evening its was definitely worth the wait and had my taste buds dancing next time I'm in Valpo I'm definitely stopping by thank you for such a wonderful experience and I need that recipe...“

“Kipkates did a great job with grandbaby's shower cake. I took a picture of a cake, and they made it identical to the picture. I wanted a more expensive 3 tier, and they talked me into a more affordable 2 tier that turned out wonderful. It tasted delicious! Great experience!“

“I went to Panera bread on Thursday with my husband and We ordered baken turkey bravo , brownie , lemonade & coffee. As being pregnant I didn’t finished my sandwich and only eat brownie at their location. And bring my leftover food at home and when I heat it up it had bug in it. Nice play with peoples life and money! Shame on you guys!“
