“Oh! What a beautiful beautiful cozy coffee shop! I have been meaning to visit Dark side coffee house for a while now and I finally got the chance today!The vibe is relaxed and the service is so good and quick. My best part was having a slice of spinach quiche. The base was fresh and layered crunchiness and the keto cookie was from a different world!The coffee was delicious and freshly brewed!Cicero is a small town with really stylish and friendly customers and I so enjoyed interacting with every one of them.They have a delicious array of baked goods so be sure to try each one of those!“

“We were visiting Grand Park for sports (soccer), and are always looking to support a local company, but were especially looking for a place that roasted its own coffee. Being that there was also food was an added bonus. I had the Basecamp dark roast, and was in love at first sip. My son had the Caravel, and said it was very good also. As for the food, three different dishes were ordered. I had the sausage strata. It was a proper portion and was extremely tasty. My son had the Sara Lee special, which once I saw kinda wish I'd ordered, and he raved about it. Our third patron, ordered a lunch item, the Mediterranean sandwich, minus tomato. It was so good, and he was so hungry, he literally ordered a second. No complaints. You get what you pay for. We all agreed we'd go her before a litany of popular chain restaurants. I also left with a 5lb bag of the basecamp whole bean coffee, because I knew once I was in MI if I didn't get it I'd have regrets, and since I'm still dealing with the ones from summer camp as a kid, I don't want them standing up. Fantastic venue, personable service, and frankly down right comfortable, like home.“

“Great shared space with a pastry shop. Cozy seating area. Parking in front on street and behind the building as well. Service is always great. By far the best Chai Latte I’ve had. We’ve been back several times and will continue to make our way there.“

“They make great drinks including the best London fog I've had. The staff are friendly and actually craft your order. They sell items from other local small businesses. The reason I drive past multiple other coffee shops to get there is the atmosphere. It is cozy. I feel like I'm welcome to stay and enjoy my drink for as long as I'd like. The seating is comfortable and thoughtful. The reason I go into a cafe is to take a break from the hustle and just be still for a while. I can do that here.Dietary restrictions: They do have a couple of gluten free items.Kid-friendliness: They have books and games for everyone to enjoy.“
