“Moved to the area a little over a year ago and always wanted to try First Watch but with their hours and our schedule never aligning we never got to go until today. We ordered the million dollar breakfast sandwich and the choose two with the turkey avocado sandwich and the chicken chopped salad. We also got the dragon fruit drink, the honey cruch iced coffee, and the salted caramel doughnuts. Drinks were very good. Food was good except my order was wrong they gave me the Cobb salad and when I told our waitress the issue and the mistake and all she said was that she could bring me some chicken for the salad. I declined because we were already done eating and I didnt see the point of the chicken when they were two completely different Salads and toppings. I don't like blue cheese which was all over my salad so I picked around it and ate what I could and my half sandwich. Other than that the experience was good. Just disappointed and not the happiest with the resolution.“

“This is for the bakery!! I placed my order which was so easy the stuff so was friendly. We got the cake it was done right on time and that is amazing when you have a 5year old birthday party to get to. The cake was amazing, looked amazing and taste as good!!! They did an amazing job! So i googled Ethiopian coffee shops in Louisville and found Abol cafe. visited today and had some pour over coffee, it was the best coffe i've ever had, and i have tried coffee everywhere!!!! believe me when I say this place has the best Coffee around. “Cafe Shiraz is an absolute gem! My sister and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. First tempted by the beautiful pastries in the case, we ordered a baklava and an almond croissant. Then we turned to the menu and got the Breakfast Platter For Two. We took our seats in the cozy, bright cafe and ate our desserts first - unbelievably delicious! The baklava was flaky and delectable; the almond croissant was served warm which brought out the flavors of the buttery layers and sweet almond. Then came the breakfast platter! Life changing!!! This was essentially a charcuterie board of breakfast goodness, including fried eggs, ham, a bagel, feta cheese, butter, cream cheese, walnuts, honey, sliced veggies, strawberries, and lavash. We noshed on this wonderful concoction combining different flavors with each bite. Everything was fresh and delicious and the lavash was crispy and seasoned to perfection. In addition to the amazing food, the atmosphere is cozy and bright and the proprietor was extremely friendly. Located on the corner of Brownsboro Rd and William St, close to Mellwood, Cafe Shiraz is the perfect spot for a meal or snack before or after shopping at Mellwood Arts Center or Work the Metal, or walking around Nulu! A solid 5 stars!“

The empanadas were excellent, the tea and coffee was great, the service was helpful and friendly, and the restaurant was spotless. In particular, there was an exceptionally wide variety of empanadas to choose from. If you like empanadas, this is the place in Louisville!“

My husband had the BLT w/ pimiento and liked it. We finished off the meal with a slice of Derby pie (terrific!) and the pavlova (a tad too sweet for my liking and a bit hard to eat with just a spoon, but I still enjoyed it). I would be remiss if I didn't mention the perfect glass of iced tea I was served. It was plain unsweet iced tea that had been brewed to perfection! I would go back for the tea!“

Their Aguas frescas(natural flavored waters) are really good too, this last time I got pineapple and my husband got mango. Both were awesome. I walked in with my family and was immediately impressed with the trendy ambiance. This place has a surprisingly nice menu to choose from considering it is a cafe. There are a number of breakfast sandwiches and paninis to choose from and they all seem so tasty! I decided to order a breakfast burrito and was pleased. It had fresh roasted peppers and onions, which gave it a nice kick. Next time I'm in the downtown area, I'll be sure to try their coffee options.“

“I have the most perpetually unimpressed 3.5 year old and he absolutely LOVED Glow Worm. The building is easy to find, lots of parking, the staff are super friendly and the facility was so clean. My husband and I both got items from the cafe and I think we'll come back just for those honestly. If it was closer to my house, I would take my kid a couple of times a week!“
