“Our server was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. Restaurant was very clean. Bathroom were very well cleaned and maintained. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. Cooked evenly on both sides and well marked from the grill. We were also greeted soon as we walked in the door. Great staff. Bartender made our drinks and did a great job. Thank you for hiring staff that has pride in their work.“
“Rare 5-star. Excellent food that was prepared very quickly, and incredible staff that kept on the move. Our waitress, Hannah, did an outstanding job caring for our table as well as several others in our area. Drinks stayed full, and she answered our couple of questions very professionally. Kitchen staff had the appetizers out in just a few minutes as we were finishing our rolls, and the rattlesnake bites were delicious. There was a huge crowd, but plenty of staff were in place and took care of everything in a timely manner. 10/10 would come back again.“
“Michael was a wonderful sever and his assistants were amazing also. They were so nice and helpful our drinks never went dry. Overall a wonderful experience on our 29th anniversary celebration, thanks Jeff Ruby’s and staff. Mike and Amanda Sowards.“
“We visited from out of town on 3/28 to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was perfect, beginning to end. We started at the bar where Bryce made delicious espresso martinis and Clayton and Clinton were quick with conversation. We were seated promptly at our reservation time in the terrace. Keith and Trang took excellent care of us. Mike, another server in the room, overheard me explaining what wine I was looking for and he chimed in with the perfect recommendation. Keith made fantastic recommendations for our food. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the creamed spinach was amazing! We finished it off with the best bread pudding I’ve ever had! I cannot recommend this place enough. The service was outstanding, food was incredible, and the atmosphere is inviting.“
“We just came for apps after having an early dinner elsewhere but the service and food we did get was awesome. We sat at the bar and had the nicest bartender get us what we needed. Even though it was later in the evening we felt welcomed and that was appreciated.“
“It's like the poor man's version of Fogo de Chao; but they charge the same lol The plantains and polenta were extremely greasy. The meat selection was limited and they even tried to supplement with hot wings and garlic bread. I was charged for my "free" birthday dessert. There were no kind of jams, honeys or spreads to accompany the meat and cheese selections at the very small salad bar. And, if I'm paying over $100/person I expect something a little classier than Townhouse crackers. The creme brulee was delicious though. But, all in all, a super crappy birthday dinner. I would have eaten better at Rafferty's.“
“Our server, Jakaela was fantastic! They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The food was A-ma-zing! Well needed for the roadtrip home. Fantastic location. The place was full but we got a seat in less then 15 minutes and the food came out super quick. A+++++“
“After reading the reviews I decided to give it a shot and was gladly surprised not only by the ambiance but by the signature steaks and side dishes I was able to try. All of this supported by a professional and service oriented waitress made the evening. The Medallions Trio, part of tonight's specials was amazing!“
“Great food and service, Aidan was our server and was excellent, the manager stopped buy to check on everything, place was absolutely packed, someone in our party of 6 called ahead and we didn't wait more than 2 or 3 minutes before we were sat at our table. We went back I had a coupon for a free appetizer, we sat at the bar , the Masters was on, Alexis was the bartender and she is a real pro, excellent service, great burgers, great potato skins, reasonably priced, will definitely be back soon.“
“First time dining here. The bone in ribeye was absolutely delicious and cooked perfect to medium. Just as good as any other steakhouse we attended. Salad was good oysters were very good. The service was the best. Abagail employee number 81348 took good care of us, was very friendly and tentative to our table. Thank you Abagail for such good service, you made it very enjoyable.“
“What a great place to celebrate our son's 17th birthday. Our waitress was a true example of customer service and going the Extra MILE. We travel all over the world, and we love and reward spectacular experiences. Thanks for making our sons birthday lunch rememberable.“
“Amazing service, truly a luxury experience from the drinks to the dessert and everything in between. The staff were extremely knowladable on not just food recommendations but also the history. We had a taste of many portions of the menu. You can not go wrong with any of the appetizers or the desserts. The steak was amazing, and the drink was recommended and was an excellent choice. I would recommend to anyone who wants a special experience and delicious food.“
“Beautiful restaurant! I love the bar, it has a classic retro vibe. But, come for the food! I have had multiple items on menu, & I have never been disappointed. I love shrimp cocktail & theirs is top-notch. The latest thing I have ordered is the Amish chicken. The skin was crispy and the chicken was tender. So good!“
“If I lived in Louisville - this would be my spot. It’s a total vibe. Food, service, decor & $3 mimosas are all ?!! The steak Eggs Benedict was delicious and worth the $40. I love how the check comes in a romance novel for you to keep (if you like)…“
“Ate here with my best friend on a Thursday night. Country fried chicken special for Thursdays with Mac and cheese. Rice side dish was only okay. Forever love the salad bar and all its toppings. Salad bar did run out of lettuce and stayed empty for over 5 minutes. Only downside.“
“Have lived in Louisville since '95 and always return to Pat's for a relaxing evening and great meal. The staff is always very gracious and welcoming. Always try to get Chuck as our Waiter as he's a real gentleman. Pat and his wife run an outstanding dining experience..“
“Really special place for Louisville. The building is a special landmark in the east end. The steaks are good, and the service is good. We just really lack fine dining in Louisville. We had Lilly's. We still have Le Relais, a good experience but not a steak place. We still have Jack Fry's. That too, like Le Relais, is an institution, and they serve some great food in great atmospheres. If you have poor service at any of these places, you're just unlucky that evening. Louisville has some of the most pleasant and attentive service in the country. But if you want a good steak in Louisville, you go to Le Moo. Great ribeyes, and an awesome Tomahawk. The meat quality is a little better than Ruth's. If they both use the same distributor for steaks...? Meh, Forgive me. Here's the thing, Le Moo doesn't leave my palette coated with seasoning and salt. Most restaurant fare is loaded with unnecessary flavor enhancers. I'm not saying any I've mentioned here use them, and I am not making such a claim. My claim is that, in many Louisville restaurants, many dishes taste overly salted.“
“This is my first time here and I will be back! The Flo Filet is the most tender steak I have ever had, it melted in my mouth. My daughter's said the Mac and cheese was the best they've ever had. Excellent portion size for value! Hannah was our server and she was sweet and efficient! White cheddar mushrooms, spicy chicken and street corn were also amazing!“
