“We were out for a relaxing Sunday drive in the country and came across this gem. The service was spectacular in this cozy bar that's been around for some time. I noticed one of the cooks looked like she was working thru some pain and still kicking butt so we made sure to slide a tip thru the window for them also. Great prices and quality, give them a stop on your way.“

“There was chicken on standby, so there wasn’t the long wait that I had last time. It was fast and still fresh. One of the people working there brought the food out to my vehicle. It was truly a delightful experience and I can’t wait to go back the chicken flavor. It was delicious. Also had some onion rings. They were fresh crisp. Very tasty.“

“Loved this place! It was a little dead so at first we were sceptical, but everybody was nice, took care of us really well, and the food was amazing! Aussie cook killed it, and the newspapers in the bar table were pretty cool. I got the Philly with swiss and they rocked it! Slightly small menu selection, but it is all really good!

Dietary restrictions: They were able to cook just chicken breast for our Gluten Free member. Not many more options than that though

“The band ADDICTION played that night. Awesome band! Best hand breaded chicken strips around! They are gi-normous! The tenderloin was the same. Great food and friendly staff. If you want to experience some amazing food and a little scenic drive to get there, this is your place!!“

“My husband heard about this restaurant that is at the Putnam County Airport. We went on a Sunday around noon. The restaurant was busy, but we got a seat in less than 10 minutes. We got a window seat that overlooks the airfield. Menu was small, but looked to be home made. Our waitresses were friendly, and the food came promptly. We both had breakfast. Food was good, and prices were reasonable. We might have to go back because we did not get to see one plane takeoff or land :)“

“Today we had lunch at Almost Home Restaurant & Swizzle Stick Bar, and it was delicious! We’ve done dinner here, and it was PHENOMENAL, and their lunch offerings are on that same level. We had the Garlic Cheese Curds and Bleu Cheese Buffalo Pub Chips for apps, and both were very tasty. For my lunch, I ordered the Almost Home Favorite meal with their Tearoom Original Chicken Salad on croissant, Roasted Red Pepper soup of the day, and Garden Salad. The soup and salad was very good, and that chicken salad was ah-may-zing!!!“

“After watching our grand daughter play volleyball, we looked for someplace different to eat before heading 1 1/2 hour home. My husband did his research and found The Putnam Inn. This was a buffet with fried chicken - his favorite. For 7 pm at night, the place was almost bare but the buffet was fully stocked with hot variety food. Salad bar and desserts included. My husband ate 8 pieces of chicken and many sides to go along with it; mashed potatoes, rolls, Mac & cheese….. we loved the variety of options and the servers and other personnel we spoke with were very kind and welcoming! Thanks for a great place to stop!!“

“We loved the college pub/sports bar vibes at Moore's! I only tried the Seafood Dip (which was tasty!) since I wasn't that hungry, but the Hangover Tenderloin, Ultimate PB&J, and Cuban caught my attention - I'll be back with a bigger appetite to try those!“

“This place has such a huge variety of different foods to choose from! Best place in Greencastle to eat at! Always such friendly waitress and clean place to go! Nice to eat outside as well. Highly recommend this place! 10/10“

“What an amazing space! The layout and decor are super cool, and the view from the upstairs dining area is second to none. I didn't get a chance to try the coffee drinks, but we did try a glazed yeast donut and sausage/egg/cheese breakfast sandwich on brioche - both were delicious! Lots of great items for take out as well, definitely check this spot out!“
