My daughter, newborn son, my friend & I ate at the Cloverdale Kitchen for the first time today & that was the best breakfast I had had in a while. That pancake was absolutely melt in your mouth scrumptious. We had the sweetest waitress who provided absolutely the best service I have ever had from a server & she is newly expecting. I forgot to congratulate her. If she ever reads this we wish you absolutely the best for you & the baby if we don’t get to see you again. She is...read full review

Bought $70 worth of gas. Receipt printer at pump not working. Went inside to get receipt, noticed signs saying free coffee and popcorn with gas fill up. So got a coffee from the machine and went to get receipt. Clerk says the coffee not free because I got it from the wrong machine!

Cloverdale Kitchen Travel Plaza is an old building that needs attention, but offers good home cooking and classic diner style flair. It is an awesome place to relax and recharge, with clean surroundings and good staff. The service is quick, with a smile and good attitude, though one reviewer noted a poor girl running alone at dinner time. The food is well above average, with large portions and reasonable pricing. Regulars often order the South Western omelette anytime of the day, described as the best omelette ever. Breakfast and dinner are both good choices, and the gas is reasonable with working bathrooms. However, the bathroom service leaves much to be desired, as paper towels were out the last five times. One diner found the fish greasy with too much breading, dry cottage cheese like paste, but good coffee and water. A mechanic shop on the property had an overpriced part at $875.00. This is a go-to breakfast spot, even at 2 or 3 am after a night of drinking, with the best food on the planet.
