We live in Valpo and usually order from the Aurelios in Crown Point because the one in Valpo is less than good. I had a choice between the dim room or the half lit room, I chose the half lit because the setting and mood was just right for ot. “Grindhouse is my favorite place to go have a beef bomb sándwich and a decaf caramel latte. My husband always gets a black coffee and the house salad with goat cheese, chicken, and a honey-mustard, homemade dressing. They have bags of coffee, honey, hot sauces, and shorts for sale too. Also, this coffee house always mixes up the menu if you're one who likes variety. They have cool music playing in the background and the atmosphere is perfect for an enjoyable conversation. I will always go here because I love everything about this place.

Parking: Lots of spots to Park.

Kid-friendliness: I bring my grandsons ages 5 to 16 here all the time. It's right next to Griffith Park; so you can go play afterwards“

“The food was great! I have to eat gluten free and it's still not as common as you'd think for restaurants to carry GF buns, but this place did! And it didn't crumble to pieces like most of them do lol. Plus, the service was fantastic. Joel was so attentive and genuine and made sure we had everything we needed. “We have Been at Theo’s at least 20 times in the last 3 years. The first time was the best and last night was the last. Food was a lot better 3 years ago. The staff seemed like they cared about you buying the right or the best value, Last night we were ripped off. David was our server. Telling how great the specials were with out telling us the price. My wife wanted seafood not steak. So we ordered her the seafood crab legs, lobster tail and shrimp. Crab legs tasted like they were frozen for a long time, the lobster was Tuff. Shrimp was good in garlic butter. I had a steak. With mushrooms. Do your self a favor ask what the price for any specials . DON’T BUY ANYTHING WITHOUT KNOWING THE PRICE. SeaFood Special $175.66 Who the hell charges this for a pound of crab legs and a lobster tail? Never again! Buyer beware!“

“Their Pho was delicious, wasn’t initially expecting all that flavor but it was packed with it! I’m giving 4–stars, because they were out of a lot of foods- including rice and the crab rangoons didn’t have much crab in them.

But overall- great food that could be easily overlooked!“

“I recommend Noodles and Company. But I recommend going to a different location. And don't use the app. The Schererville location has now 3 times not gotten my order correct. I'm being charged for food that isn't received. Phone calls go unanswered, and giving feedback is pointless as that is ignored. The one time I gave feedback about feedback being ignored I was informed they are "busy" and will get to it ASAP. That was now at least 9 months ago. 3 times of paying to not get what I ordered is too many. There won't be a 4th.“

“My wife and I had not been here in about a year. We would get AYCE lake perch, which they understandably don't offer anymore. However, the YELLOW Lake Perch dinner is absolutely the best in the area. The filets are perfectly breaded and pan fried. We also got a side of 2 walleye filets prepared the same way. Just as good with the distinctly walleye taste. We were both in the mood for coleslaw and fries. After we left, neither of us could figure out why it took so long to go back. We had a great, friendly server (Lindsey) who was new, but she was awesome. We also got to chat with Cindy (the owner) for a while. The place is not smokey at all and not very busy for a Friday night. My only complaint is their social media outreach. I like to look at menus before I visit a restaurant. But that's just me. We will be back to try other offerings, highly recommended.“
