“We were passing through Daleville on the way home from a sporting event, and decided to stop. I’m so glad we did! The assistant manager, Cameron I believe was his name, was outstanding. Great attention to service and a super pleasant attitude. Great dining experience overall, and the food was delicious.“

“The large breaded tenderloin is the best I have ever had. The stuffed breadsticks are also in a league of their own. My hesitation in recommending this restaurant is that the server was so unprofessional and rude to us from jump that is nearly ruined our experience. (Surprisingly she was training someone whom she was also being completely rude towards. ) There was a table outside that they told us we could sit at but every truck that drove by would kick up rocks at us which made it a little less enjoyable as well. If you can ignore the service the food is absolutely delicious.“

“Tried the famous onion burger. 2 paddies with grilled onions nestled between the paddies. Very hot and tasty. Fries are skinny and hot. The oil was clean and the resturant did not have an odor of cooking oil. Everyone was pleased with food and service. Working Model train was fun to see above our heads.“

“I do not get down this way much,just a drive through town in the past but enjoyed a Small place in a small town! Has the home feel. Met friends for pleasant get together. Only draw back access road was closed off main highway but appears to being worked on. This location is pretty deep into town.“

He noticed my Grandma getting out of the car and immediately stepped in and helped her every step of the way. He called in and had a table ready for us. He came by numerous times to check on her. “Today was my first visit. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, the service, and the quality of the food! And the pricing! I had a western omelette and pancakes with hashbrowns, and everything came out perfectly. I asked for the hashbrowns to be extra crispy, and they were! I asked for extra butter, and it arrived with the pancakes. My wife and I were short on time, and were in and out of the restaurant within 40 minutes! On a Sunday! I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast.“

“This cafe has been in Yorktown for many years. They have very good food. When you enter you are met with an atmosphere as if you were in Mayberry. Don't leave without trying their home-made pie, and don't forget to tip your waitress!“

I went tonight with a friend and Sydney was our waitress, she was very friendly and made our experience even better. This is truly a gem to Yorktown. “Great Food! Prime Rib was cooked perfectly. Hot food and bread. Generous portions & enough for leftovers that I ate the next day. Our waitress was also the bartender resulting in slower than normal service. I and friends ate at Home Stretch a month ago & service was much faster. Overall, great meal and above average service.“

“If you want delicious homemade food served by super friendly ladies surrounded by locals who appreciate their little restaurant, this is your place! Thursday and Friday nights, they have a grouper dinner for $13. Everything on that plate was delicious. Everything going to other tables looked delicious. “It was overpriced hospital food, not hot!! I ordered the Pot Roast with potatoes & carrots, it was warm with a brown gravy that was overly salty. There was no potatoes & carrots. I ordered Mac n Cheese as a side, it was warm and gross. The 2nd side of greenbeans w/bacon was also warm but tasted the best of the whole plate! If I had known there was no potatoes & carrots as the menu says I would have ordered mashed as a side. The waiter who seated us wanted an answer about our drinks immediately as he rudely hovered over and wouldn’t let us look at the menu. It took a decade to get our bill and pay. I won’t go back!“

“I became a patron for the food and the general atmosphere. Now it’s my go-to to get out of the house. This little gem is Muncie’s best-kept secret. Known for their statue of Paul Bunyan, this bar serves all the usual bears and has a fairly deep liquor shelf. Their food is out of this world. I personally recommend the ribeye sandwich and fried mushrooms.“

“So uh.. went here in thanksgiving day. Full warning: Dont do it. But if you do, make sure you dress super warm because there is a super long line that was pretty far outside. But besides that, the line went pretty quick even though they were at full capacity. Food was good! Server was super sweet. Place was super busy. The dinner rolls are the best. I probably ate 10. “This is the second time it has happen to me. Stopped in for two 3 piece fish dinners, was giving a number at the register and two cups for drinks. We set the number on the table ,which you could see it was just cleaned. Before we could get our drinks filled the dinners were on the table, nice hot ,and professionally cooked, and ready to eat. “We came here for dinner around 6:30. I didn't get the best picture but we ordered a drink, fries, onion rings, double garlic steak burger, a Frisco burger, extra sauces (ranch and Frisco).

It only took 5 minutes to get our order, which beats most fast food places I've been to recently. They made our order correctly, the dining area is CLEAN and properly stocked with the napkins, condiments and such. An employee was out cleaning and wiping the drinks area several times, it's as if the employees here actually care about the way they do their jobs. My pre-tip total was $20.70 for 2 people which happens to be about the same or cheaper than many other places around especially for food like this.
You can clearly see how they have kept costs down to offset the rising prices a bit by eliminating the cash register positions and adding the scanner on the fountain drinks. (If you haven't seen these yet, don't worry, someone will show you what to do)

This is a great experience and doesn't seem to deserve a 3.9 rating. It deserves a full parking lot. Employees from competitors should be coming here to see what it looks like when a job is done right. Well done 👏“
