“First time visit, and I ordered my barometer dish on how I judge a new-to-me Asian restaurant: General Tso. It was pleasantly sweet and thick sauce - and plenty enough to flavor the rice. I have yet to understand why some “fried rice” is daffodil yellow, but the extra sauce helped that as well. I could have used more spice in my General. I appreciated the two sizable pieces of broccoli that were in my order. General Tso is never known for its vegetable content so this garnish was a bonus. But the real star was the fried dumplings. That’s what I will be thinking about for a long time to come. Crisp and delicious. And the dipping sauce had really good ginger flavor.“
