Been hanging out at The Wet Spot since I was 21. Back in my hay day it's was called 254 Tap. It's my 1 of 2 favorite places to be. Everyone there is great. Go check it out.

The Wet Spot, formerly known as 254 Tap, is a favorite among locals and is often described as the famously famous diviest dive bar in the entire Midwest. This gem of a bar offers a comfortable atmosphere with clean restrooms and plenty of space to move around. The staff, including bartender Holly, is courteous and provides amazing service. Customers have noted the welcoming nature of the staff, making it a great place for those feeling out of place. Guests can enjoy delicious food choices, such as the Mushroom and Swiss burger with fries and Rhubarb pie, which many have found to be amazing. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the decor is nice, complemented by 80's music playing in the background. The pretzel sticks are a must-try while visiting. Prices are affordable, making it a perfect spot for a fun night out.
