“Called to order a sandwich and was told that i must have the wrong place, I've ordered from Denver, in for decades.. so I proceeded to attempt to get me a sandwich again only now I was being ignored, I tried to communicate with nobody who was on the other line but the phone time is still counting, very unprofessional lady, how can you get the wrong pizza place when it's got a picture of the place on its website.. I won't attempt ordering there again.. Denver Indiana's businesses are slowly but surely fading”

“Just had lunch at the Garden Gate Cafe. I had the grilled chicken salad and took home a piece of the Hummingbird Cake. That’s the best food I’ve had out in I don’t know how long. The inside is just beautiful. The house dressing is fantastic and that cake. Ahhhhh!”

“It is one of the few places left that is all-you-can-eat. It's a pizza buffet, but also has hot dogs, salad, soup, bread sticks, dessert and your drink. They will bring out any kind of pizza you want. They give you the first one or two pieces and then put it out for everyone else. Tge food is hot and very tasty! The people are friendly, like family. It has tables for 4 or 6. It is very clean. Everyone carries their plates to the trash and puts their silverware in a bucket to be washed. The kitchen staff then washes the tables. It's a very homey atmosphere and fun to eat there!”

“If you want a walk down memory lane stop in for some “Arnold’s Candy” treats! Plus Wendy’s own recipe candy, cake balls, Dubai chocolate. I stopped in for a gift of candy and left with a bag full of goodies. The shop is nice, warm and welcoming - definitely going back! Thank you Brandi and Wendy for being so kind!”

“We live about 45 minutes away so this was not on our radar to eat here, but glad we did while passing though town. We both had the brisket special. Just Wow!!! They did NOT skimp on their brisket portions or their sides! The brisket is right up there with some of the best I've had. VERY tender, juicy and falls apart. It was not tough or dried out at all. All our sides were very good also! We'll definitely come this way again and stop here just for the food. We love finding new 'destination' places to eat. Job well done!”

The atmosphere is exactly what you’d hope for in a hometown bar and grill—comfortable, inviting, and full of character. It has that perfect balance of being laid-back yet lively, making it a great spot to relax with friends or stop in for a good meal. I tried the Dillinger Classic Burger, and it was outstanding. The burger was clearly made with fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection, and packed with flavor. The patty was juicy and well-seasoned, and it came together with the toppings to make a truly satisfying sandwich. You can tell care is put into the food here, and it shows in every bite. The service was just as impressive. The bartender was friendly, attentive, and really helped make the visit enjoyable. Great service always makes a difference, and it was clear the staff takes pride in taking care of their customers. Overall, Dillinger's Bar and Grill is an excellent spot with great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service. I’ll definitely be back again soon and highly recommend it to others.”

“Fun for the whole family! They have a petting barn with mini ponies, pigs, goats, horses, lamps, donkeys, even barn cats. The slushy wine is amazing. And there's even food you can try. There's a corn maze to.”

“My family has eaten here before and it was good. We have not had bad service and the atmosphere is just fine. I thought a salad sounded good. I ordered The Big Chicken Salad...BIGISTAKE!! This was far the very worst salad I have eaten or at least tried to eat in a very long time! The chinchy amount of lettuce was old, it has tiny diced tomatoes on it when I asked for NO tomatoes, VERY minimal onion and shredded cheese and the MOST disgusting fake piece of chicken!! They did get the hard boiled eggs right. I'm not saying I won't go back but 100% will definitely never order this salad or any salad from there again! Very disappointed in the lack of quality salad that you should be getting for $13. Probably should have just went to the Wendy's next door for a salad...I bet I would have ate more of the Wendy's salad than I did of Wings pathetic overpriced Big Chicken Salad. Just save your money and don't make the mistake I made thinking I was going to get a great salad!”

“It is a nice place to shoot pool and socialize with friends. The bar staff are usually friendly people especially Joshua and Catt. They have a Band or DJ at least 1 or 2 times a month and they have a great new age music player with reasonable pricing. The owners are also very nice people if you don't drink too much and cause a scene. It is also a smoking establishment.”

Great pizza, great place, I’ve always loved it and always will. the only complaint I would ever have is that it might take awhile, and the price, but then again you can rush perfection.”

Jing Jing Garden — The Greatest Hole in the Wall You’ll Ever Find

You know a place is gonna be good when the menu is just faded photos of lo mein from 1998 and the cash register doubles as a homework desk for the owner’s kid. Jing Jing Garden is that place.

Behind the counter is a small child doing math problems, occasionally stopping to hand you a bag of fried rice like a seasoned pro. The walls? Decorated with the same 12 dishes you’ve seen in every Chinese takeout in America — and somehow every single one of them is perfect.

The food? Glorious. The kind of General Tso’s that makes you question your life choices up to this point. The fried rice could probably broker world peace. You don’t come here for ambiance — you come here because your soul needs something warm, salty, and made in a wok that’s seen more history than your car.

Jing Jing Garden doesn’t need fancy plating or modern decor. It just needs a menu, a deep fryer, and the quiet confidence of a place that’s been doing it right for 30 years.
