“Called to order a sandwich and was told that i must have the wrong place, I've ordered from Denver, in for decades.. so I proceeded to attempt to get me a sandwich again only now I was being ignored, I tried to communicate with nobody who was on the other line but the phone time is still counting, very unprofessional lady, how can you get the wrong pizza place when it's got a picture of the place on its website.. I won't attempt ordering there again.. Denver Indiana's businesses are slowly but surely fading”

“Just had lunch at the Garden Gate Cafe. I had the grilled chicken salad and took home a piece of the Hummingbird Cake. That’s the best food I’ve had out in I don’t know how long. The inside is just beautiful. The house dressing is fantastic and that cake. Ahhhhh!”

“It is one of the few places left that is all-you-can-eat. It's a pizza buffet, but also has hot dogs, salad, soup, bread sticks, dessert and your drink. They will bring out any kind of pizza you want. They give you the first one or two pieces and then put it out for everyone else. Tge food is hot and very tasty! The people are friendly, like family. It has tables for 4 or 6. It is very clean. Everyone carries their plates to the trash and puts their silverware in a bucket to be washed. The kitchen staff then washes the tables. It's a very homey atmosphere and fun to eat there!”

“We live about 45 minutes away so this was not on our radar to eat here, but glad we did while passing though town. We both had the brisket special. Just Wow!!! They did NOT skimp on their brisket portions or their sides! The brisket is right up there with some of the best I've had. VERY tender, juicy and falls apart. It was not tough or dried out at all. All our sides were very good also! We'll definitely come this way again and stop here just for the food. We love finding new 'destination' places to eat. Job well done!”

“Mike's Pizza has the best pizza in the area. We recently moved to the area and have been coming to Mike's at least twice a month since. Highly recommend anyone looking for a delicious pizza to check them out. We order the 16 inch 3 topping with ground beef, sausage and ham and it's full of meat from edge to edge on a great crust. If they have the apple dumpling available we get that as a dessert we can take home. It is also very delicious, worth getting. The waitress we usually get is a young lady who is very friendly and helpful with anything we may need. She's a great young lady. You definitely want to make a trip to Niona Lake to check them out!”

“This is our second visit to Boardwalk Cafe. It’s conveniently located in downtown Peru, and, on our weekend visits, we were able to park right out front. You order at the counter, and the staff brings your food to the table. Both times we’ve ordered their grinders, which are toasted and very tasty. They make the bread for these sandwiches in-house, and it’s great! The cafe is small but charming, the staff is friendly, prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.”

I have tried most of their coffees, they are always quite good. I definitely recommend you try some of their specialty items, when they have them they're always quite the treat. always a nice place to stop for coffee ☕.”

Their dry ciders are comparable to some great English ciders, and their “Scotchy Scotch” (finished in Laphroig barrels) may be one of the best ciders I’ve ever had. With the juice being pressed from onsite apples, what’s not to love? Amazing service and a great selection of ciders, will definitely be back!”

“Wanted Prime Dub but they only have it on Friday and Saturday. My son had the all you can eat fish. I had the chicken strips it was okay but some of it was over cooked”

“Hunt Brothers Pizza is a great pizza for anybody searching for really good tasting food the employees are always very respectful their Pizza is also never undercooked or overcooked it is always just right with a perfect amount of toppings”

“We were looking for a good place to eat on our travels. So glad that we took those extra few miles off of US 31 to try this place out. I had the meatball sub and my husband had the Stromboli sub, both were amazing! Do yourself a favor and stop here!

“We stopped in for some take-out breadsticks, to accompany for salads at home. \nThe facility is clean and well-maintained; and our order was processed efficiently. \nThe breadsticks were decent, though a bit pricey for what one now gets (however, it has been several years since our last visit here, and many items have increased in price/diminished in quantity).\nAll in all, this location is still a good representative for the franchise.”

“It is a nice place to shoot pool and socialize with friends. The bar staff are usually friendly people especially Joshua and Catt. They have a Band or DJ at least 1 or 2 times a month and they have a great new age music player with reasonable pricing. The owners are also very nice people if you don't drink too much and cause a scene. It is also a smoking establishment.”
