Their beans are very reasonably priced, and I love that I can order 5‑pound bags as my daily drivers for the week. Every roast I’ve tried has been consistently excellent.

As my tastes have evolved, I’ve reached out with questions and each time, one of the owners has responded with thoughtful, polite, and genuinely helpful guidance. My most recent request was a custom roast level for their Ethiopian beans. I fully expected a “sorry, we don’t do that,” but instead they simply asked that I order 5 pounds at a time and were happy to accommodate. They communicated clearly about timing and followed through exactly as promised.

Their proactive customer service is just as impressive. On one occasion, a shipment was delayed, something I hadn’t even noticed. They emailed me first, explained the situation, and credited my account with a refund without me ever having to ask. That kind of initiative is almost unheard of.

Beyond great coffee and great service, Bendix also gives back. I’ve seen them run charity sales for a local school and stay actively involved in the community. It’s clear they care about more than just business.
