Great atmosphere overall
We have been Hacienda customers for many years! There’s not much better than a strawberry margarita, chips and ranch dip. A special thanks to Jay (Green River Road)…the best server in town!
We went to Hacienda to meet my son and his family for a birthday celebration, they were on the patio when we got there. We had my three-year-old granddaughter with us and we were stopped as we tried to walk out to the patio. we were informed that children cannot WALK THRU the bar which was the way to the patio. Based on the reviews, Hacienda Mexican Restaurant in Evansville is a gem with great food, drinks, and a great atmosphere. The service is always wonderful, with wait staff that is quick, friendly, and prompt for refills without asking. The food is amazing, piping hot, and fresh. The birria tacos are amazing, and the chips and salsa are very thin and crispy. This location is 20 times better than the First Ave location, with more space for larger parties. The atmosphere is pleasant and low light mood setting. The fresh burrito bowl is recommended for those not wanting too many carbs. Best seat in the whole restaurant is in the back of the bar by the deck. Hacienda has always been good, going all the way back to the early 1980s.
